AVENGERS: ENDGAME Actress Katherine Langford Reveals Why Morgan Stark Deleted Scene Was Added To Disney+

One of the biggest surprises on Disney+ launch day was a new batch of Avengers: Endgame deleted scenes, including Katherine Langford's Morgan Stark meeting her father Tony in the Waystation. Check it out!

There was a lot of hype surrounding Katherine Langford's role in Avengers: Endgame leading up to the release of the movie, but when we finally saw the epic ensemble, she was nowhere to be seen!

It was later revealed that the Knives Out star was going to play an adult Morgan Stark who would have met her father in the same "Waystation" Thanos crossed paths with Gamora in in Avengers: Infinity War. That sequence recently popped up on Disney+, and during a recent interview, Langford talked about what it was like to learn she had been cut from the movie.

"It's a weird thing because...you're just perpetually terrified that you're going to spoil something," Langford said. "I mean, I'm such a huge fan of the Marvel films and the Russo brothers, so when Marvel reached out to me to play Iron Man's daughter, that was such an honor."

"And ultimately it didn't make it into the film, and creatively, like, that makes sense and that's totally fine. I was just content with having the memory in my head." As for why she believes it was added to the streaming service, she adds: "I heard that's why it's out though. That's what I was told. It was literally out because people wanted to see it. Which is also really cool."

Langford is a talented actress and it's easy to imagine Marvel Studios finding a different role for her somewhere down the line, especially as her role as Morgan was only in a deleted scene.

Watched it, good choice to delete it. It's too long and it would mess up the flow of those final moments

@dracula - It just didn't make sense how an older Morgan would be the visual spirit that Tony sees. If anything we should have gotten a scene with Tony is Soul World looking over toward Natasha as she sits by a lake and Tony saying "Agent Romanoff....You missed me?"

@SonOfAGif - I would not have minded at all to have seen this in the movie

I get how the waystation is supposed to resolve any unsolved things for the snapper, but I still believe it should've been Black Widow. Then they really would've wrapped up the arcs of Black Widow too in my opinion

Honestly, the dialogue in this scene isn't all that good and it's just way too long. It also felt like Morgan should've been the one to say I love you 3000.

Maybe had they put an aged Pepper next to Morgan it would've been better than just Morgan on her own

I get the idea, he sees her as a grown woman and he realizes that he didn’t sacrifice his life for nothing, but she’s essentially a new/different character. She’s not the Morgan we know. Maybe if it was the young Morgan or both versions of her 🤷🏾‍♂️ But even then, it kills the momentum of the movie. Good call to ax it. Maybe they should have reworked it a bit and made it an after credits scene or something.

Haven't seen the deleted scene yet but I don't think her appearing is how the waystation works as it appears to have a connection to the soul stone, and the kid never was near the stone in the first place. black widow like some have mentioned above would have been the better choice for being the person Tony meets.

They should have just played some of that glorious blue-eyed Soul known as The Righteous Brothers. There's some soul for ya.

I'll tell ya why it was included on Disney+.... because they plan to use her as a grown Morgan Stark in a future movie/tv series.
