AVENGERS: ENDGAME Star Shares "Really Illegal" BTS Video From The Set - Spoilers

One of the stars of Marvel's Avengers: Endgame has just posted an awesome behind-the-scenes video from the set of the movie to their Instagram page, and it is positively rife with Spoilers! Take a look...

#DontSpoilTheEndgame, folks... unless you happen to be a Disney employee, part of the Marvel Studios marketing team, or an Avengers: Endgame cast member.

To be fair, most people have seen the movie by now so this isn't really a big deal - although some of the higher-ups at Marvel may see it differently. Despite being warned not to film anything or take any photos, Chris Pratt (Star-Lord) shot some sneaky footage from the set while several very familiar faces were preparing to film the final battle sequence.

If you hadn't seen Endgame yet, this would obviously confirm that all of the characters that were wiped from existence in Infinity War will return and share the screen with Cap, Iron Man, Thor and the others.

"This is a really illegal video," notes Pratt right at the end. "Yep," Chris Evans responds with a friendly jab, "you're in big trouble."

Honestly, this is an awesome little BTS glimpse, and was most definitely "worth it."

Avengers: Endgame is now in theaters. If you've seen it, let us know what you thought in the comments below, and you can also find out how the movie sets up the future of the MCU.

The Eternals

Related image

Although The Eternals are never directly referenced, Captain Marvel makes it very clear that what's happening on Earth after The Decimation is happening all across the universe, so one can't help but wonder if Carol's outer space adventures during the events of Endgame might somehow tie-in to the introduction of Marvel Studios' next cosmic super-team.

The Plot of The Eternals is still under wraps, but we do know that Sersi (Angelina Jolie, probably) likes to live among humans, so there's also a chance she was on Earth for "The Snap" and the aftermath.

Young Avengers

If Marvel does decide to introduce a younger incarnation of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, they already have a few options for the roster.

Hawkeye's daughter Lila seems pretty handy with a bow and arrow, and could always take over her father's mantle now that Clint Barton is (presumably) retired. Plus, Cassie Lang is now a teenager and might decide to suit-up as Stature at some point. More unlikely is Harley Keener - the kid from Iron Man 3 who shows up for Tony Stark's funeral at the end - who has been the source of Iron Lad speculation for years now.

Of course, there is also a more direct descendant of The Armored Avenger, but more on that later.

The New Asgardians

At the end of the movie, Thor leaves New Asgard in the capable hands of Queen Valkyrie. We know The God of Thunder will be jetting off with the Guardians, but surely we'll return to that little coastal town full of viking aliens at some point, right?

If not, it'd be a wasted opportunity, because the continuing adventures of Korg, Miek and the others is something that needs to be explored - if not on the big screen, then on the new Disney+ streaming service.

Black Widow

So, looks like that Black Widow movie is definitely gonna be a prequel!

Natasha Romanov meeting her end in Avengers: Endgame doesn't so much set up the character's solo film as it does confirm that the soon-to-shoot project will take place before the events of the Infinity Saga finale, and will most likely focus on Nat's days as a Russian spy/assassin.

There is some speculation that Widow could somehow be resurrected, but that seems highly unlikely and would seriously cheapen her noble sacrifice on Vormir.

Iron Man Girl

Okay, so Morgan Stark is far too young to even start thinking about the superhero gig, but if Marvel ever does decide to continue the solo Iron Man franchise, they do have the perfect person to take up the mantle of the Armored Avenger... in a few years, that is.

Of course, we also saw Pepper Potts suit-up as Rescue at the end of the movie - but Gwyneth Paltrow recently confirmed that she'd be leaving the MCU after Endgame, so her continuing on in her late husband's place seems unlikely.

Professor Hulk

Related image

Was this the last we'll see of Bruce Banner/The Hulk in The MCU?

While most of the other original Avengers' stories came to pretty definitive ends, Professor Hulk (Prulk?) is still active at the end of the movie. Granted, one arm seems severely damaged after using the Infinity Gauntlet, but one would assume that wouldn't keep The Green Goliath out of action for good.

Another solo Hulk movie remains very unlikely, but the fact that this version of the character is a fully CG creations definitely leaves room for him to return in some capacity, even if it's just for an occasional cameo appearance.

A-Force

We've been hearing whispers of a possible all-female Avengers movie for a while now, and Endgame definitely teases its potential.

During the final battle, Spider-Man asks Captain Marvel how she intends to fight her way through Thanos' minions with the Infinity Gauntlet, and every female hero on the field - including Valkyrie, Wanda, Wasp, Okoye, Mantis and more - comes to her aid.

To be honest, it's a bit of a clumsy sequence, but it might give us some idea of how an A-Force movie's roster would look should Marvel ever decide to move forward with one.

GOTG Vol. 3

Image result for thor and the gotg

The third Guardians of the Galaxy movie is still a few years off, but Endgame actually does a great job of setting up the plot.

After Stark's funeral, Thor joins his space-faring pals for some more intergalactic adventures and will, presumably, still be a part of the team by the time Vol. 3 comes our way. Plus, with the new (or should that be old?) Gamora MIA, Star-Lord and the others have the perfect mission to kick things off by tracking her down and convincing her to join the crew.

Captain America

At the very end of the film, Steve Rogers passes the mantle of Captain America to Sam Wilson, setting the stage for a brand new Sentinel of Liberty in The MCU. The question is, will Sam wield the shield on the big screen?

We know there's a Falcon and The Winter Soldier Disney+ series in the works (although that might takes place before the events of Endgame), but it would be a shame if we didn't see this new incarnation of the iconic hero make an impact in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well.

The New Avengers

Endgame may be the final installment in The Infinity Saga, but we know it's not going to be the last Avengers movie! It may take quite some time, but Marvel will put together a new team of Earth's Mightiest Heroes at some point, and many fans expected Endgame to give us an idea of which characters we'd see on the roster.

Unfortunately, things still seem a little up in the air on that front.

It's assumed that Captain Marvel and Black Panther will return in leadership roles, and they'll likely be joined by Ant-Man, The Wasp, Doctor Strange, Wanda, Rhodey, and hopefully our new Captain America. Bucky is also a possibility, as are supporting characters such as Shuri and Wong.

We'll just have to wait and see how Phase 4 develops.

Very cool video. Although he makes a point that does bring a little sadness. These folks may never all be in the same room together again.

Maybe it's weird to say... But I love how they all look like regular people when they're casually together. Besides those awkward looking stand-ins. Are they not allowed to talk with the "real actors"?

So the Marvel movies will now take place 4 years in the future from now on? Also, if Peter's back in high school does that mean some of his classmates are already in college?

This is a really cool video. This can't be the time on set Sebestian Stan was talking about though.

Aa far as the movie goes, Cap with mjolnir was better than Thor with mjolnir because cap actually has a fighting style.

I wonder if it was purposely done, but I wonder if how well he did with it had something to do with what Erskine said to Cap about a man with no power.

Also, Cap did the move from age of ultron when Thor says "they look like they're lining up for something" and he hits the hammer against the shield

If we only would've paid more attention...

@MyCoolYoung - I meant during AMatW press tour. Apparently Douglas and Lilly said some *SPOILERY* things on the press tour about that lake scene from Endgame, but they were thinking they shot it as a scene for AMatW.

The Thanos we got in Endgame was a mad titan who hadn’t fulfilled his goal yet. People are saying he was “layered” or was “your typical villain”. That’s BS. He was just beginning his journey of acquiring the stones. He didn’t even collect any yet. Thanos 2.0 really showcases how strong he is. I preferred him better this way because of the fact he was stoneless. It’s his true power. In Infinity War he was unbeatable. He didn’t fight Hulk, Cap, Black Panther, Scarlet, or War Machine. He just dismissed them with ease.

Thor made up for being fat in just one scene. When he had Mjonir and Stormbreaker in one hand I was like “holy sh$t”. Thanos grabbing Stormbreaker was a wild moment too. That battle scene was bananas.
GhostDog
GhostDog - 4/29/2019, 6:56 AM
@Frshcoupe - Yea I thought he was still good in Endgame.

You got hints of what he would become and how he was at the earlier point of beginning his hunt for the stones.

They could have easily had him be VERY GENERIC when seeing his fate and having him get pissed at how he was killed by The Avengers in the future, even when considering that he fulfilled his goal. It could have devolved into "arrrgh how dare they smite me, mighty Thanos" bullshit. He even came to a grand realization when seeing how those unruly wretches of Avengers would go to the lengths of traveling through time to undo what he did; undo his great "gift" to the universe. Like he said, as long as there are those that remember what was, there will always be those, that are unable to accept what can be. Therefore, he will create a universe that will only know and appreciate what he has given.
MyCoolYoung
MyCoolYoung - 4/29/2019, 7:06 AM
@BlackBeltJones - I agree. I think they avoided generic villain. He became even more similar to Ultron to me.

Ultron knew he had to kill the avengers to set his plan into place and past Thanos realized that once he saw they were trying to get the stones.

"as long as there are those that remember what was, there will always be those, that are unable to accept what can be"

"You want to protect the world but you don't want it to change. How is humanity saved if it's not allowed to... evolve? With these? These puppets. There's only one path to peace. The Avengers' extinction."
GhostDog
GhostDog - 4/29/2019, 7:14 AM
@MyCoolYoung - Yea I think The Avengers will always disregard the price for evolution being bloodshed. Like Cap said, the world Thanos would create would be born out of blood. Its not worth it to them.

Cap even told Widow he saw the whales swimming in the Hudson, a hint at how the ecological system may have improved since the snap. But is it really worth the billions of lives lost? No.

Love, the joy of reunion, friendship, and hope is worth more. The Avengers fought for all of that in the end.
MyCoolYoung
MyCoolYoung - 4/29/2019, 7:42 AM
@BlackBeltJones - agreed. I actually thought that's the movie we were getting... Some people actually have moved on and were in a way grateful while some long for how things use to be.
