Avengers Assemble On 22 Stunning New Character Posters For AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR
To celebrate Robert Downey Jr.'s birthday, Marvel Studios has released twenty-two stunning new character posters for Avengers: Infinity War, featuring all of your favorite heroes (except Hawkeye)!
As the cast and crew of Avengers: Infinity War prepare to headout on the worldwide press tour for arguably the biggest movie of the year, Marvel Studios has debuted twenty-two stunning new character posters featuring all of your favorite heroes gearing up for battle against the Mad Titan Thanos (Josh Brolin).
As per usual, there is no sign of the fan-favorite Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), which likely suggests that his role and appearance in the movie is something that absolutely cannot afford to be spoiled. There's also no sign of Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Heimdall (Idris Elba), and Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), who are all also rumored to appear in one capacity or another.

Captain America
Chris Evans returns to the lead the Avengers in an epic battle against the Mad Titan Thanos (Josh Brolin) in what could prove to be the penultimate chapter in his cinematic journey as the Sentinel of Liberty.
Iron Man
Ten years after delivering one of the most iconic lines in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, the longtime franchise frontman, Robert Downey Jr., returns to action and promises to do everything in his power to stop Thanos (Josh Brolin) from destroying the entire universe.
Happy Birthday RDJ!
Black Widow
Scarlett Johansson returns as the deadly Black Widow, sporting a considerably different look than the last time we saw her in Captain America: Civil War. With a Black Widow movie expected in Phase 4, it's highly unlikely this is the last we see of Natasha Romanoff, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's safe in Infinity War or next year's Avengers 4.
Doctor Strange
Benedict Cumberbatch reprises his role as the Sorcerer Supreme, his third appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since his debut in 2016. After bargaining with Dormammu in his solo feature, this movie will see Strange take on the most deadly member in Thanos' Black Order: Ebony Maw.
Gamora
Zoe Saldana reprises her role as Gamora, the Most Dangeorus Woman in the Universe. She's expected to have a pretty major role to play here as the Avengers and Guardians team-up to take down her adoptive father (Josh Brolin).
Shuri
Letitia Wright returns as Shuri. After a scene-stealing performance earlier this year, T'Challa's (Chadwick Boseman) kid sister is back to help the Avengers with a critical mission: remove the Mind Stone from Vision's (Paul Bettany) head before it's too late.
War Machine
Don Cheadle is back as War Machine. Rhodey suffered a pretty devastating setback in Captain America: Civil War when he suffered some unfortunate friendly fire, but it looks like the last two years have been good to him and thanks to a recent photo, we know he's also back on good terms with Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson).
Spider-Man
Tom Holland returns as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, but he's not sporting his traditional suit anymore as he finally accepts the Iron Spider upgrade. The new suit will surely come in handy when he ventures into space alongside the Avengers to take on Thanos (Josh Brolin).
Scarlet Witch
Elizabeth Olsen promises some major mayhem in her return as the Scarlet Witch. While her arc remains under wraps, it looks like she'll be among the first to engage in battle with Thanos' Black Order as she does her best to protect Vision (Paul Bettany) from a grim fate.
Okoye
Danai Gurira is back in action as the kickass Okoye. After helping her King (Chadwick Boseman) regain his crown earlier this year, the fierce leader of the Dora Milaje will follow T'Challa and Captain America (Chris Evans) into battle against Thanos' evil forces.
The Vision
Paul Bettany reprises his role as Vision. While almost everyone is rumored to die in Infinity War, Vision may be the one to actually bite the dust since he's the only Avenger currently in possession of an Infinity Stone. However, he does have an ace up his sleeve with Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) by his side.
The Hulk
Mark Ruffalo returns to Earth as the Hulk. After reuniting with Thor (Chris Hemsworth), it's time for the Hulk to finally come home, but based on the trailers, we know his trip isn't exactly going to be a smooth one as he crashlands into the Sanctum Sanctorum where he meets Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Wong (Benedict Wong).
Thor
Chris Hemsworth returns as the God of Thunder. Based on the Ragnarok post-credits scene, we can probably assume the Asgardians and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) will be the first to make contact with Thanos (Josh Brolin) in the movie, which is a meeting that probably isn't going to go well for pretty much everyone onboard.
Wong
Benedict Wong returns to play his part in taking down Thanos. It remains unclear what his role will be in the final battle, but we do know he'll be teamed with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), which makes for a pretty formidable quartet.
Star-Lord
Chris Pratt is back as Star-Lord and don't worry, his plan to take down Thanos (Josh Brolin) is way better than Iron Man's (Robert Downey Jr.). He'll also be joined by Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Mantis (Pom Klementieff), and Drax (Dave Bautista) at the Battle on Titan.
Winter Soldier
Sebastian Stan returns as the Winter Solider - or should we call him White Wolf? Thanks to Shuri (Letitia Wright), Bucky's head is functioning properly again and the timing couldn't be any better as his particular set of skills is desperately needed in this war of epic proportions.
Nebula
Karen Gillan is back as Nebula. This movie should be quite the emotional rollercoaster for sisters Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Nebula as they wage war against their power-hungry father (Josh Brolin). Whether or not either sister will be the one to deliver the final blow is yet-to-be seen and is probably something we won't know until May 2019.
Mantis
Pom Klementieff reprises her role as Mantis. She's become a full-fledged Guardian in the past three or four years since the events of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and her powerset will be needed to find an upperhand in this seemingly unwinnable battle.
Rocket and Groot
Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel will return to voice Rocket Raccoon and Adolescent Groot, respectively. The duo should be the two of the most entertaining characters in the entire movie and their interactions with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and the very human team of Avengers should make for some all-time MCU moments.
Black Panther
Chadwick Boseman returns as the Black Panther. After leading his own solo movie to the top of the record books, the King is ready to reteam with Captain America (Chris Evans) to not only protect Wakanda, but the entire universe.
Drax the Destroyer
Dave Bautista is back in action as Drax the Destroyer. Thanos killed his family and in less than a month, Drax gets his revenge - hopefully. We have seen a photo of him on Titan, so it's probably not a stretch to assume that he'll definitely get a crack at the Mad Titan (Josh Brolin) before all is said and done.
Falcon
Anthony Mackie reprises his role as Falcon. After Cap (Chris Evans) broke him out of prison two years ago, Sam's been laying pretty low, but when duty calls, he's quick to leap back into action. We've seen one pretty stellar shot of him already, soaring above the battle of Wakanda. Cut the check!
An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
