Avengers: Infinity War will obviously feature a lot of unexpected meetings but something everyone appears to be overlooking is the long overdue reunions between certain characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After all, it's been far too long since Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor stood side by side on the big screen (the last time was at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015).

Entertainment Weekly has revealed a brief scene description from the upcoming Marvel movie which reveals that Captain America and Thor will meet again on the plains of Wakanda when all the heroes unite for one last stand against Thanos. Kevin Feige has, in fact, confirmed that the entire final act takes place in the fictional African nation so it's there that we can expect everything to reach
a head.

Thor and Cap are reunited while the former wields Stormbreaker and the latter uses his new Vibranium shields and the site notes
that, "The skyline of Wakanda’s capital city stands in the distance, and Cap and Thor are among hundreds of tribal warriors from throughout the nation, gathered at the river’s edge to join the heroes in facing down a horde of synthetic-alien demons known as the Outriders."

Once the scene finishes shooting, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth start trying to figure out what each of the heroes should say when they bump into each other and notice their very different haircuts.

"I’ll be like, ‘Short hair now? Good choice,’” Evans says, while miming a right hook against an invisible Outrider. “And I’ll go, ‘Yours too. The beard. Very rugged,’” Hemsworth says. They’re still workshopping it as they go back in front of the cameras. But before they can complete their takes, lightning crackles nearby, followed by curtains of stinging rain that send the whole production stampeding for cover. EW’s Day 1 on the set comes to an abrupt and muddy end. Maybe that exchange between Cap and Thor will make it in, maybe it won’t. The thing about Infinity War is, you can’t really be sure what will survive."

You have to hope that will end up making the final cut of Avengers: Infinity War but just seeing these two working together in Wakanda will be a treat, as will seeing which other heroes join them!
