Brian Bendis On The Avengers, Jon Favreau Promises Cowboys & Aliens Trailer Soon!

Comic book writer Brian Michael Bendis shares his thoughts on Joss Whedon's The Avengers and reveals that he's working on the movie while Jon Favreau promises that news on a Cowboys & Aliens trailer is on the way...

In the "'Next Big Thing' - AVENGERS (with BENDIS!) LIVE!" feed over at Newsarama, the comic book writer has revealed that he's working on the movie, and while he couldnt reveal too much about that, he's clearly impressed by what he's seen of Joss Whedon's work on the 2012 epic so far.

Next question concerns the movie — Bendis says he can't really talk about it, but is very positive, and says that it places even more importance on the Avengers comic book title. Bendis:

"The movie coming down the pike makes me feel that even more. Watching Joss put together his version of it makes me feel it even more."

The Avengers is set to be released on May 4, 2012 with an amazing cast that includes Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson!

While news on Cowboys And Aliens has been pretty quiet recently, Jon Favreau has still been providing fans with the odd update via Twitter, and perhaps most interesting, was what he posted just a few minutes ago.

"Cowboys and Aliens trailer news coming soon..."

"Finished final sound mix of Cowboys and Aliens teaser trailer. We're locked and loaded...

Something to get excited about that's for sure! Cowboys And Aliens is up there with Captain America and Thor as being one of my most anticipated movies of 2011, and with a superb cast that includes Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Sam Rockwell and Olivia Wilde, be sure to check it out on July 29, next year.

this is going to be sweet. Is it just me or does Daniel Craig look really really old now. Or is that just make up or something.

@leee your old avatar was cooler, and funnier.
Finally got to watch that Phantom movie that syfy made
it was pretty bad ass. The high tech suit made sense, especially since Kit said he was not going to wear the old suit, and then the scientist says his father did not like it either. But still it was nothing like the Billy Zane Phantom classic from the 90's.

I think the avengers is the most anticipated movie of all times. To me at least :)

Because of all the shananingans with the superman movies, that took the place over the man of steel, in my view. Cant wait!!!!!

Plus the new animated series is freaking awesome
