Kevin Feige Speaks On "Dueling Quicksilvers" In X-MEN: DOFP And THE AVENGERS 2

It seems Marvel doesn't plan on addressing during its Comic-Con panel that both X-Men: Days of Future Past and The Avengers sequel will feature Quicksilver, despite the panels being back-to-back.

While Fox's Comic-Con panel has showcased X-Men: Days of Future Past just moments ago, SuperHeroHype spoke with Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige earlier today about Marvel's panel, which is minutes away. When asked if he'll address the X-Men "inbetween-quel" including Quicksilver, despite the character joining The Avengers 2, Feige says, "I can't speak for Fox--I think Fox might do something--but we're not prepared to do anything with that. It's early days for us. We just know that there's enough Quicksilver in the comics and there's a reason that each studio has a right to that character is because he's a certain way in the Avengers comic, he's a certain way in the X-Men comic, and from what I know now, we're treating him as very very distinct different characters." It was rumored yesterday that Marvel would officially announce during its panel that Kick-Ass 2 star Aaron Taylor-Johnson would be joining Earth's Mightiest Heroes in 2015, but it doesn't seem likely. Of course, we'll know for sure very soon. Meanwhile, Johnson's Kick-Ass co-star Evan Peters, who's set to play Quicksilver in Days of Future Past, just mentioned during the Fox panel that his incarnation "moves and talks quick and gets impatient." And director Bryan Singer said that the character was always part of his story and exists in the 70's portion of the film.
