Bruce Banner was unable to Hulk out in Avengers: Infinity War but that looks set to change in the sequel and it's a good job too seeing as the X-Men and Fantastic Four are on their way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After all, the Jade Giant has been known to clash with both The Thing and Wolverine, and the latter is one character Mark Ruffalo cannot wait to cross paths with down the line.
Asked during a recent interview about future Thor: Ragnarok style team-ups, he said: "Well, of course, there’s always the Banner-Black Widow combo, which I think is always a good combination. It’d be cool to see — I mean, people talk a lot about Wolverine and Hulk hooking up, I think that would be a really great combo." There's no denying that would be amazing and definitely a fight for the ages!
"And I love Hugh [Jackman], and it would be cool to do something with him, if he’s up to doing it," Ruffalo added. "He’s always teased Hulk versus Wolverine would be pretty fun." It was actually back in 2014 that Jackman first said he would like to cross paths with The Hulk but he's since retired from playing Wolverine after starring in Logan. Here's hoping Kevin Feige can convince him to return!
