Things Finally Start Looking Up For Stan Lee As A Restraining Order Is Filed Against His Business Manager
A new report has surfaced today revealing that Stan Lee has taken out a restraining order against business manager Keya Morgan as the LAPD confirm they've opened an investigation into possible elder abuse.
Just two days after Stan Lee's business manager Keya Morgan was arrested on suspicion of filing a false report to police, the legendary comic book creator has been granted a restraining order against the man who he recently claimed was the only person allowed to represent him in a video many people speculated Lee was actually being forced to film amidst his declining health and memory issues.
It's also been confirmed that the LAPD is investigating reports of elder abuse against Lee and that his former attorney TomLallas is now acting as guardian ad litem for Lee. Following the death of his wife last year, the creator of characters like Iron Man, Spider-Man, and the Fantastic Four has reportedly been caught between a number of parties vying for control over his life for their own financial gain.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Lee's health has notably declined in recent months and his memory is in poor shape." That's obviously not good but it is a relief to hear that things are starting to look up for Lee because it was horrible to think about his final years on this planet being full of turmoil and vultures looking to pick apart his fortune. Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson may say it best and his remarks point to the comic book creator now being in a considerably better place than before:
