Secret Invasion started a trend for Marvel. It began story arches involving villainous super heroes. When the lines become blurred between good and evil, it makes for extremely relatable and compelling story lines. Than came a comic pioneer Dark Avengers. Dark Avengers was released a few months ago and has become a sensation. DA is the first comic series I have really started collecting. I usually am just a graphic novel guy. However, I find the story fascinating. I love that it is the villains that are posing as heroes, while the heroes are no where to be found. Iron man was kicked out of S.H.I.E.L.D. and disgraced. The story lines, thus far have been awesome. Now Marvel is announcing that there is going to be a Dark X-Men story line and has been posting Dossiers on some of the new members (which can be found here http://marvel.com/news/comicstories.8208.The_Weekly_Watcher%7Ecolon%7E_May_29%2C_2009) Here is a preview of the cover of Dark Avengers/Dark X-Men: Utopia 1.

I am stoked for Dark Avengers/Dark X-Men: Utopia 1 to come out. I love anti-hero stories and there is nothing better than villains (posing as heroes) going after one another in the name of what they feel is good. Great concept. This is why I am more of a Marvel fan. Not to mention that the art work on Dark Avengers is absurdly great. What do you think about Dark Avengers and the upcoming Dark X-Men? What characters do you think will make for good future story lines. Also, how did you about the Secret Invasion story arch?

dellamorte1872: Garrison Kane has been destroyed several times, but the weapon X tech in him allows him to be rebuilt each time. Cloak, Dagger, and Xavier are wierd choices for me. I can't honestly see Osborn telling Xavier what to do. I hate Daken, so his inclusion could very well ruin the whole thing for me.

You forgot to mention Weapon Omega too.

Weapon Omega is a man named Mike Pointer. He was the recipient of the Collective, the displaced energy from all the depowered mutants. He killed almost all of Alpha Flight amongst others. He is an overpowered character, but this group is looking to be full of those, having Xavier, Namor, and Mimic in the group too.

It is cool to me in a way that Namor, Cloak, and Dagger will now be listed amongst the ranks of X-Men/former X-Men(I'm sure at some point, as I really don't see Namor sticking around long given his attitude) forevermore. It's appropriate that Marvels first mutant be among them.

Dellamorte: I beleive they are both recognized as mutants in Maximum Carnage (don't quote me on that though) Black Cat was also revealed to be a mutant as well, just fyi. I have MC in GN form so I'll have to read it again to be sure.

Betty: yummy, I know her hair is a dark red color on the show House. Did I say already that I'd eat the corn from her poo?
