The Green Lantern movie just wrapped in the Big Easy, and so the city must have an appeal for the movie studio.
The next couple years are once again proving that this is indeed the golden age for comic book movies. Other CBMs underway include:
- X-Men: First Class currently shooting in London
- Captain America: The First Avenger is in London now as well.
- Cowboys & Aliens is well into filming in New Mexico
- Men in Black III filming on October 18 in New York
- Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance shooting November in Romania and Turkey.
- The Spider-Man reboot, taking place in LA in December
- The Avengers, supposedly shooting in February, also in Los Angeles.
Coming along, but with no set dates yet, are the new Superman movie and Wolverine 2.
