ARROW Star Stephen Amell Still Wants To Play This BATMAN Villain
The plans for WB's DCEU are kicking into high gear, and with no sign of Arrow ever crossing over with the film universe, Stephen Amell has reiterated he'd like to play this particular Bat-villain...
The CW's DC Universe has been expanding with a fervour; along with three hit shows based around Green Arrow, The Flash, and Legends Of Tomorrow, the network plans to add Supergirl to the roster this fall. Despite this, some fans are disappointed that the small-screen world won't ever cross over with WB's greater plans for a DC universe on the big screen. In an interview with Cinemapop, Arrow star Stephen Amell chimed in on who he'd like to play in the DCEU if ever given the opportunity, and his answer was a departure from his usual characters. “I always get this question. I think all the superheroes are taken now. I’ll play The Riddler, okay? It’s a villain, but I like The Riddler.”
Given all the news we've received over the last year about how WB plans to keep the TV and film universes separated, we probably won't be seeing Amell's Green Arrow onscreen with the other Justice League heroes anytime soon; would you be interested in Amell playing the Riddler? Sound off below!
