Action Figure Offers First Look At 'Ninja Talon' From Animated Film BATMAN VS. ROBIN

The official announcement of DC Entertainment's second Animated Original Movie in 2015, titled Batman vs. Robin, was initially misunderstood to serve as an adaption of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's acclaimed Court of Owls storyline from the New 52 Batman line. However, the film will not be based on the arc; rather, the deadly secret society will be the villains of the piece. DC's February 2015 solicits, unveiled earlier today, give us our first look at a 'Ninja Talon' from the movie, and while they have been redesigned for Batman vs. Robin, they remain undead assassins as in the comics. Check it out and leave your thoughts in the usual place.

Oh man, I thought this would be a combination of the first two New Batman and Robin volumes, why not just do court of owls?

The Talon looks perfect, though the yellow could be a bit of a darker shade

Batman vs Robin...

I am sick and tired of heroes fighting each other. This goes for both DC and Marvel. JUST STOP.

WOW!!! Didn't know anything about this animation.

Court of Owls is a fantastic read.......one of the best Batman stories.

Isn't this supposed to be a part of DC Comics Animated Cinematic Universe, along with Justice League: War, Son of Batman, and Throne of Atlantis? If they're doing this whole shared universe thing, they should make movies about properties besides Batman and Justice League. Superman Unchained, Manapul's Flash, and the Trench would all be perfect for an animated movie.

Remember when there was the rumor that they were planning on making animated movies out of the scripts from abandoned movie projects? It would be so awesome to see Batman Triumphant or Superman Lives as an animated feature.

Kind of hope Robin dies so they can do the Robin Rises thing, but as an added bonus a Wonder Woman or Green Lantern flick would be nice too.
