Deadpool - Agreed, I'll watch the episode just for that! ...and [FORNICATE] 'Shazam' - his name is 'CAPTAIN MARVEL'. Damn Marvel Comics and their lawsuits!

... and while I'm at it, [FORNICATE] DC/WB for keeping Captain Marvel on the second-stringers list for so damn long, thus allowing Marvel to start their lawsuits in the first place!

Logan, Shazam is the name of the wizard that gave Captain Marvel his powers. And this isn't the first ep to use Capt. Marvel. And yes, they actually call him Capt. Marvel.

SHAZAM was my first hero that introduced me to comics and the superhero world. I'm Spanish, Greek and Native American. So Captain Marvel is a childhood favorite that I will not and could not get over. I watch and collect anything that has Captain Marvel in it. It kinda turned into a hobby. I can't wait for the movie.

CasualFanatic - Kudos to you for knowing the difference, but you're missing the point. DC cannot legally have a title called 'Captain Marvel' because Marvel Comics (way-back when) started a lawsuit against DC for the name (DC's 'Captain Marvel vs Marvel's 'Captain Mar-Vell'). Since DC stole the Big Red Cheese from Fawcett (by instigating a series of lawsuits of their own claiming he was a rip-off of Superman, thus bankrupting Fawcett) and burried him so that he couldn't compete with the Big Blue Schoolboy, they really didn't give a crap. The agreement was that DC's could still call their character 'Captain Marvel' BUT... they couldn't use it in a title, hence all the 'Power of Shazam' crap, and one of the reasons why Big Red has never been a contender in the DC universe! That's what I'm pissed about!

I'm looking forward to this episode as I look forward to every episode of Brave & the Bold, one of the few new shows I watch. Absolute greatness every week.

Or, it could actually be about the power that Shazam (the wizard) possesses and bestows on Black Adam and Billy Batson. Just saying. Actually, I managed to already see it, and that's exactly what it's about.
