While talking to Coming Soon about narrating a new film called Born to be Wild, Morgan Freeman was asked about his return as Lucius Fox in The Dark Knight Rises. You will notice that he also addresses the opening scene in the film, just like cinematographer Wally Pfister said back in February that "The opening scene of the movie will blow your mind"

CS: What are you most excited about for "The Dark Knight Rises," for you and the film?

Freeman: The most exciting thing about it is watching the openings, I'm telling you. Doing it, it's fun to work with Chris Nolan. He's really a terrific writer, a terrific director. One of those highlights of your career.

CS: Is there interesting stuff planned for you as Lucius Fox in the film?

Freeman: Oh, yeah – really good stuff!

We all remember that awesome opening scene in The Dark Knight, and knowing that Nolan topped that is truly great.

Starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Juno Temple, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine The Dark Knight Rises is set to hit theatres on July 20, 2012!

I really get the vibe that Nolan will combine Bane with Hugo Strange and have a really sick and twisted Bane doing experiments himself.

the opening scene of dark knight... batman bends shotguns with bare hands (one handed actually) and crashes a car by landing on it. not so great since batman should be human.
i loved the movie though

@batbro

LOL. i 100% agree. the car crash landing i can stand but the one hand gun bend always bothers me. it seem so unnecessary! but yep, fantastic film overall.

Anyone else finding it funny that people actually believe this movie is going to be bad? My favorite complaint is the too many villains one. As if there wasn't at least 4 villains featured in the other two movies. I guess people just NEED to complain about something even if their complaints are based on nothing.

I can tell by the responses that we have a bunch of young heads in the house. I like gargoyles but to to say it's better than thundercats intro tells me you guys weren't even alive around '85 when thundercats came out. If you were you wouldn't make statements like the ones above come on now there's no comparison!!!

Damn dat wasn't shit from Morgan.

I wish Heath didn't die, I wanted more Joker. It would have been awesome the Joker, Harley Quinn, Two Face, Batman and Catwoman. Wish 2Face wasn't killed off, wanted to see a bi-polar 2Face struggle with his bad and good side oh well. I hate the Dark Knight ending, Who else wanted to punch Gordan's son in the face at the end, screaming "Batman! Batman! Where you're going!"... Where u think he's going you little dumb mutha[frick]er.

But oh well, I know Nolan won't dissapoint he has surprised me twice.

@blazindkidtes Lucious said he would not be an employee of wayne enterprises as long as the sonar machine (i don't the exact name of it) was operating. At the end of the movie, once Lucios puts in the password, the sonar machine gets destroyed. Therefor he is still a wayne enterprises employee.

@darkmatter i'm 27 and thundercats was part of my(our) generation. as an adult i've watched a few episodes and it does suck but when i was a kid watching it i thought it was the greatest cartoon ever.
