Before you dismiss this comment just be aware that this is the same guy that posted that first rumor of a Bat-copter. He said they were making this new flying device, and that it was going to resemble the tumblers. Now, several months later we can see that he was spot on. So if this is true, how do you feel about an ending done completely with visual effects?
By the way if you happened to watch the bonus features of the
Batman Begins DVD you would've have seen the VFX team creating full scenes with Batman with all CG. They used the samples as proof that they could recreate the realism that Nolan is known for. In the end Nolan was able to tell the difference and tried to avoid the technology if it wasn't necessary. So after all these years has the technology become so advance that he could do a major scene, the end, it all CG? Maybe.
