This will all depend on whether you believe a word out of Mark Millars's mouth, of course. But the connections are there and ripe for rumor picking. Firstly the controversial writer tweeted last week that he knew who the villains in Batman 3 were...
1) Oh, wait. Con gossip: I know who the villain(s) are in Batman 3 and the big scene outside Gotham sounds awesome. Totally timely locale.
2) One of the villains is from my favourite childhood run on the character. Again, very unexpected.
/Film followed this up with the suggestion that the villain may be Killer Croc, based on what Millar said and the news that Nolan would be filming in Louisiana. Swamp county!
Now, we have some, more to go on. Millar just tweeted:
Tom Hardy as Killer Croc? I like the sound of that. PS Superior #1 out today, but sold out in 4 hours. Thank you, fellow gingers.
So if, and its a big if, Millar does indeed know the identity of
Batman 3's villain, its a safe bet we will be getting to see Tom hardy and Chris Nolan's undoubtedly real world take on one of Batman's most vicious and fantastical villains.
