RUMOR MILL: THE BATMAN Star Robert Pattinson Being Pushed To Breaking Point By "Control Freak" Matt Reeves

This is a story that needs to be taken with a humongous pinch of salt, but rumor has it that there are problems developing between director Matt Reeves and star Robert Pattinson on the set of The Batman!

The Sun isn't exactly a reliable source of information about upcoming superhero films, but when it comes to The Batman, it appears the U.K. tabloid has some insight into what's happening. As well as breaking news about positive COVID tests on the set of the DC film, they now claim to have details on tension between director Matt Reeves and star Robert Pattinson.

The newspaper's site claims the actor, "has been pushed to breaking point by 'control freak' director Matt Reeves, those on set have told me." It's added that, "Insiders say director Matt Reeves has forced Robert to do upwards of 50 takes inside the bulky Batman."

An supposed insider tells them, "Filming has been a gruelling process, especially for Robert, as Matt is such a perfectionist. He’ll insist on doing scenes over and over again and get bogged down in the tiny detail. Sometimes it’s like he doesn’t know when to stop." $90 million is said to have been spent on The Batman, meaning there's a lot of pressure to get the film right.

Reeves, meanwhile, is said to be paranoid about catching COVID, and it's at this point the report moves from being possibly real to outright ludicrous. "It’s got to the point now where he’s been directing scenes while zipped up inside a puffa coat and with ski goggles on," this insider says, seemingly confusing Reeves with The Riddler. "As a Covid-secure outfit, it’s questionable."

Don't take this one too seriously, folks!

@Spock0Clock - It's hard to take the rocks being thrown at The Sun serious when so many people unironically read Grace Randolph.

Matt Reeves should sue this dumb tabloid for libel.

@JFerguson - That's proven to be a waste of money and resources after the Depp case.
Apparently British tabloids can print any bullshit they want.

@GwenLantern - as much as I hate the sun, they won the Depp case on the fact that a court proved he was a wife beater. Only an idiot would try to sue someone for reporting on something you've admitted to doing. But then again, depps a coked of POS so it does make sense
