Third Batman Movie Gets A Release Date!

According to Production Weekly, DC/ Warner's Bros. has revealed the official release date for the third Batman Movie. Make the jump to find out when!

While IMAX announced that they had signed a 20-film deal with Warner Bros, last week, and that the untitled Third Batman Movie was on the list.

Well, Warner Bros has just now announced an official release date(via Production Weekly) for Christopher Nolan’s Batman 3. When will the Dark Knight Return?



If the filming schedule is similar to the Previous Batman sequel, the third movie could go into production January or February 2011. And While Nolan had said that he was working on a story/script with David Goyer and brother Jonathan Nolan, could this mean that they have gotten at least a story to stick with.

Quite a few hard hitters there for 2012, apart from spider man, I'm really looking forward to seeing all the other movies. I wonder who will 'win' the best summer blockbuster for 2012, but the greatest battle would be between avengers and batman 3.

If the world ends in 2012, i'll die a happy man - once i would have seen some good stuff :D

Yes, this will be EPIC!!! We get Batman, Superman, and the Avengers before Woody Harrelson becomes a bum talkin about the end of the world and before we all get killed by Roland Emmerich frickin cheap effects! If Nolan chooses Black Mask for the villain, I will die a happy man.

The Avengers and Batman 3 plus a Spiderman Reboot is too much. If we throw in Wolverine 2 then we have every big comic franchise coming out in one summer. A bit much, dont you think?

What I want in this film is this: Harvey isn't dead. He's just in Arkham, and he breaks out. Have The Riddler develop into a villain and team up with Two-Face. So, basically, a better version of "Batman Forever"...without Robin.
