all you negative fan boys are [frick]ing retarded. you talk shit for 2 years while looking at behind the scenes pictures and videos, then once the movie comes out you all go nuts for how amazing it is. the same thing happened with the dark knight, its stupid to bash a work in progress when youre looking at everything out of context. im not one of those people that thinks nolan is perfect and will only make amazing movies, im just saying wait until the god damn thing comes out, or at least until a proper trailer is released.

Very cool! Think it would be hilarious if after the movie is released, if someone edited all the leaked footage from this movie together and made they're own "leaked" version of the film!

And here I thought the hole was being dug out to bury the Avengers, Spider-Man and the rest of next summer's competition!

I love how everyone is jealous of this movie. It is the only reason it is getting bashed. Let's run down a couple of facts shall we.

Fact: The Dark Knight is the highest grossing comic book movie of all time.

Fact: More people (not comic book fanboys) are looking forward to this movie then the Avengers.

Fact: The Dark Knight made more money then Thor, Captain America and The Incredible Hulk Combined.

Fact: The Dark Knight Rises is the only comic book where one of the actors has won an Oscar. You remember Heath Ledger right? You know, the same Heath Ledger everyone bashed three years ago because they didn't like the way some pictures looked?

Fact: People are getting sick of Marvels cookie cutter, overly micro managed approach to comic book movies. Don't get me wrong they have made some great movies (Iron Man), but they are all the same. They are effects driven movies that sacrifice quality stories over aesthetics.

Captain America while one of the most beautiful films I have seen in a long time, had one of the laziest scripts. I felt they wasted the Red Skull, and a great performance from Chris Evans. There have been numerous articles in Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Esquire, Film denouncing Marvels safe and assembly line approach to movie making. Marvel is so wrapped up in whoring their movie to sell toys that they rush a lot of the films, and that is why a lot of them (while beautiful) are mediocre.

And honestly it doesn't matter what we argue about on here because the facts back this up. More saw The Dark Knight then 3/4 of the avengers movies combined. Why? Because like I said the average movie going audience, are sick of effects driven super hero movies (yet they still love effects driven giant robot movies go figure).

If you ask any non comic book fan if they are excited for an avengers movie they will say no. Most of them won't even know who they are. If you tell them it's a movie with Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man all they will tell you is ehhh, Iron man is really cool. I'm getting kind of sick of those movies.

If you ask them are they excited for the new batman movie, they will say absolutely. Why? Because the last one was a well made film that relied on great story telling over overly processed cgi eye candy. Even though Batman is bashed on here a lot by jealous fan boys, it is well respected to the average movie goer.

Honestly I do not know why Marvel people come on here and bash this movie, but if I had to guess it would be jealousy. Jealousy over the fact that 3/4 of the Avengers movies combined couldn't stack up to TDK.

For a group that already hate this movie and some how already know how the movie is going to turn out, you all sure do read a lot of articles and comment on TDKR. Hmm, I wonder why? Trolling.
