Hey all! New video rants courtesy of yours truly!

There's honestly not much I have to say about "Gotham" at this point (the vid's opening sums up my main reservations), but it could be really interesting and it seems like the people making it are genuinely excited about it. So that's good. My biggest concern is of course the longevity of the show, since at some point little Bruce Wayne has to get out of the titular town and fulfill his world travels. Also, a prequel show without supervillains isn't all that different from a typical crime drama, and a show with supervillains but no Batman isn't all that different from a straight-up Batman show, in my mind at least.

I've written before about why I think "Batman: The Series" would own, and I've got plenty of ideas on that front. My biggest worry is how it would affect the consistently amazing "Arrow" even if they weren't on the same night or network. But "Arrow" is going so strong it's hard to imagine how even the Dark Knight could ruin the fun.

Are you looking forward to "Gotham"? Did I leave anything out? Feel free to continue the discussion in the comments section, check out the links in the video for more new stuff, and subscribe to stay up to date on future fanboy tirades!
