This list has nothing to do with the story. Regardless of what is in the screenplay, these are the things that a true fan would like to see on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Things that if not granted will guarantee backlash from a lot of fans.

  1. Color of Superman’s suit MUST be the same to the comic books

The Man of Steel suit is very good, but this time we want something better, we want it to be lighter in color. The new Superman suit must have the blue and red brighter and more saturated, and the gold accents shinier.

With the recent reports showing Henry Cavill donning the new Superman suit with better colors, it seems our wish is being granted.  Hopefully, during post-production Zack Snyder will refrain from changing the color tones of the suit.

  1. Batman suit MUST be better than the previous movies

We all know that Batman is a master of many Martial Arts. However, after a total of 8 movies, we still have not seen how masterful he is. Now why is that?!? We all know it’s because of Batman’s suit which is always depicted as an armor. Even if the actor or stunt double is a trained Martial Artist, the Batman suit limits their movement, disabling them to fully demonstrate their combat techniques. What we want is a Batman suit that allows for optimum body movement like the Man of Steel suit.

Zack Snyder already revealed the new Batman suit (in black & white) and it looks more flexible and more ergonomic. It appears we can now expect to clearly see Batman show his Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Muay Thai, Boxing, Jujitsu, Kung Fu, and Ninjitsu fighting styles.

  1. Lex Luthor MUST be adapted from the DC Animated Universe

Everybody likes the version of Lex Luthor from the DC Animated Universe. He’s a sinister-charming-genius-billionaire who wears an Iron Man suit minus the helmet. He’s basically the evil version of RDJ’s Tony Stark.

Now with the casting of Jesse Eisenberg as Superman’s arch nemesis, fans are split in the middle if he can pull it off with flying colors. In my opinion, he can probably do a fairly good job just like Anne Hathaway did with Selina Kyle. Jesse’s real challenge is his voice. If he can modulate it so it won’t sound like an animated blue bird, rather a charismatic politician, then we’ll definitely have a winner. Oh, and at some point he should be bald. As for Lex Luthor’s Warsuit, it is still possible, but doubtful since Jesse’s young-douchey-genius-billionaire Lex doesn’t fit the bill.

  1. The Batmobile MUST be beautiful as Burton’s and tough as Nolan’s

Ask some people what is their favorite Batmobile and the Top 2 you’ll get are the ones from Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman and Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy. Combine that two and most probably we’ll get the best Batmobile yet. Downsize the Tumbler to make it look like a sports car, and change some of the sharp edges into glossy curves, then we get the ultimate ride fit for a Dark Knight. Well of course, they must call it Batmobile, and not some other name like tumbler.

The Batmobile photos we’ve seen so far looks very promising. They are definitely combining the cars from Burton and Nolan movies, though I wish it has more curves. Let us hope also that the weapons will be hidden most of the time and will be used only on enemy facilities and vehicles.

  1. Gotham MUST be in contrast to Metropolis just like Batman is to Superman

Gotham must be dark with a lot of gothic architecture, while Metropolis is rebuilding with modern architecture and bright surroundings. The differences in their cities will help define our two main characters. Just look at my photo manipulation below to clearly see what I mean.

  1. Zack Snyder MUST go back to Zoom-In, Zoom-Out, Slow-Mo Effect

This effect being replaced by the shaky cam style in Man of Steel is a huge mistake. A lot of people hated the shaky cam in Zack’s first Superman movie, and a lot of people missed the Zoom-In, Zoom-Out, Slow-Mo Effect from his previous movies. So to appease the fans, this effect is a MUST on Batman V Superman. Just don’t overuse it; at most 3 scenes will be enough, namely, 1st encounter of Batman and Superman, 1st action scene of Batman, 1st action scene of Wonder Woman. Imagine this effect when Batman leap like a ninja, then at midair throws a bunch of batarangs to his enemies. Pure Epic!

  1. Wonder Woman MUST be a true Amazon warrior princess

At first we thought Gal Gadot will appear only as Princess Diana. Then Zack surprised the world at SDCC 2014 with an image of Gal in full Wonder Woman suit. So that confirms Wonder Woman will be in the movie.

Wonder Woman is a big puzzle to most people. We see different versions in every media. Though, I believe, the best version is the least famous one. It’s the one in a video game, the Wonder Woman in DC Universe Online. This version is the perfect one to fit the DC Cinematic Universe. A No-Holds-Barred Amazon warrior with the beauty of a royal princess; that is what we need!

There are a lot who doubts Gal Gadot can give justice to the Wonder Woman character. I’d say Chloë Grace Moretz did perfectly fine portraying a little girl that kicks ass and kills like a real ninja. That is the magic of cinema! I have no doubt that Zack and company can transform Gal into a fighter and make us believe that she can easily break the arm of an MMA champion the likes of Ronda Rousey. Besides, we should be thankful we got a beautiful Wonder Woman and not a man-looking-muscular-woman.

I agree with some of these. #5 especially. Gotham and Metropolis shouldn't both be dark rainy cities. I really think they need to be complete opposites to the point where it's a little exaggerated.

#1 is also important in the same way #5 is.

I don't mind him returning to slow motion like in Watchmen. But enough with that zoom in and zoom out bullshit. It takes me out of it so bad and makes the action scenes unnecessarily long and completely boring.
