Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition Movie Review

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition Movie Review

I've seen the Ultimate Cut twice and now look I did enjoy the theatrical cut but I really do think the Ultimate Cut is great and one of the best superhero movies I've seen. Definitely improved on the movie very much

I liked the theatrical cut but I loved the Ultimate Cut of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and it was definitely a major improvement. The theatrical cut was a bit scattered jumping from scene to scene but the Ultimate Cut makes it feel a bit more cohesive. The editing has definitely improved making the movie flow a hell of a lot better. There is more of the Africa scene that I'm mad that they cut out of the movie and it makes more sense. Lex's motives are more clear and I've really come around to Jesse Eisenberg's portrayal of the character. We get to see Clark doing more reporter stuff and I really wish they didn't cut out him going to Gotham. I'm honestly pissed out that WB didn't release this version of the movie because I really do think this would have gotten a better reception than the theatrical cut. If you liked the movie then you'll love the Ultimate Cut, if you loved it then you will definitely love the Ultimate Cut even more, if you didn't like the theatrical cut then the Ultimate Cut may redeem the movie for you, and if you hated it for the hell of it then just don't bother. I overall loved the Ultimate Cut, I can't wait to buy it on Blu-Ray, I can't wait for you guys to check it out, and I can't wait for Justice League.

Theatrical Cut: 8/10
Ultimate Cut: 9/10

If you can't take your precious comic book characters being different in a different medium, then you won't see an improvement.

Lex Luthor not being like the comics
Batman killing
And Superman not smiling are bullshit arguments that hold no merit.

Is the fighting scene longer?

@Datahloks - No, they may have a new visual or something but the scenes are pretty much the same.
