I will not go into all the gory details since I have already reviewed the theatrical cut of this film. I will simply say that this movie should have been THE version of the film shown in theaters. All of the cut elements are crucial to the story that was sorely lacking in the original version. Scenes now made much more sense and filled out where all of the messy scene cuts were made.

Nearly 30 minutes of the film was added back and really strengthened the first two acts of the movie. It was now revealed how much Lex Luthor manipulated everything and why there is resentment towards Superman, or rather that it was actually fabricated and helped fueled Batmans rage. Clark Kent is shown smiling and Martha Kent gets a few more minutes to actually shine, especially a treat seeing her react to Batman after she is saved by him. Though the script issues were not fixed in this version, there can’t be anything done about that.The non-linearity of the films transitioning in it’s first two acts has been completely fixed and fleshed out. This truly is the definitive version to watch.

I loved the theatrical version, but have to say the UE sounds even better!

The Ultimate Edition did improve the movie greatly. Even if this was the version that was released, I still would have had my issues with it. I wouldn't have hated it as much as what we got, but it still wouldn't be up there as one of my favorite CBM's. It also solidifies my opinion that Superman deserved another movie or two before this, and Batman should have had one as well.

I thought the theatrical version was the best CBM since Dark Knight Rises. Ultimate Edition might be my favorite CBM ever. Saw theatrical 5 times, and Ultimate 2 and a half times. Oddly enough, I think I am looking forward to Gal's Wonder Woman movie more than any CBM which I would've never guessed in a million years. Her facial reactions fighting Darkseid are so spot on, it makes up for her not having 24 inch pythons.

@GarthRanzz - ¿Days of Future Past? ¿The Winter Soldier? ¿Deadpool?
