'Hive' Takes Control Of Another Inhuman In This Second Clip From Next Week's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

Here we see Hive further demonstrate his freaky abilities by "infecting" Lucio (the Inhuman with the freeze-eyes from the previous ep); presumably adding his consciousness to the hive.

He's gonna amass control of a bunch of Inhumans and in the process, I think, copy and past their powers to his "HIVE"

How do you stop that?!

AOS has come a LONG way from season 1. It's such a good show now. And damn Hive Ward is scary.

I hope by the end of the season they spend the budget to get at least one full blown Hive scene where tentacles explode from Ward's body.

Really, just go all out.

And we all know that they will eventually suck Hive out into space and kill it, given the flash forward teaser.

I wonder if Coulson should be the one to die in space taking out Hive... It would be a great way for the Avengers to never even have to find out about him and the movies won't even have to address the elephant in the room in regards to continuity with the shows.

I am fine with the shows being reactionary the continuity of the movies and not the other way around. It is asking a bit much.

This show is consistently good. Even the Hydra connections are being reinforced in the MCU.

Perfectly describes Hive's reaction after Lucio uses his power on him.

It's a great way to make Hydra formidable again... by making them a literal beast-with-many-heads. Their battlecry suddenly makes sense.
I'd like to see some flashbacks to ancient Hydra/Shield organization. What did they look like at the height of their supremacy?

Man I love this show. Not only are they always changing to the next logical step the characters are as well. The amount of character progression the characters have went through since Season 1 is astonishing, and the each step in the story always feels very natural

(Mission of the week to understand the characters > Hydra reveal to pull the rug out from everything you know about the show > SHIELD becomes smaller and more hidden to deal with Hydra and the fact they're a wanted organization > During the Hydra war reintroduce sub-plots from the "Mission of the week" to then bring Inhumans > Inhumans takes the next main plot with Hydra still being a threat that won't die > Which in turns creates an urgency of the possible threat of powers which leads great into the subject of Civil War and starts Secret Warriors at the same time.)

Really the way this show has been planned out is quite brilliant none of the other comic shows remotely come close to this level of planning where it actually uses it in a logical step for the main plot. Flash & Arrow may set up stuff to appear later (Grodd's Cage or something) but that story and the main story have rarely been as intertwined as what SHIELD has done and for the most part comes off as monster of the week rather than true butterfly effect of growing events.
