Aquaman actor Jason Momoa is expected to make a cameo appearance in Zack Snyder's Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. This cameo is a precursor to the aquatic superhero''s expanded role in Justice League and a solos Aquaman movie. Speaking to The Robots Voice at The Joshua Tree International Film Fest, Momoa teased that the costume shown in the previously released promo image may not be the one Momoa wears later on in the DCEU. "Well, there might be some bit of orange and green. A bit of respect to prior work, but I think he is meaner now and upset – look at what has been done to our oceans. That’s his world that has been polluted."
Momoa also confirmed that he's already been scanned for collectible figures for Batman v Superman. As far as his color comments go, it's not hard to imagine his armor and pants containing a bit of an orange and green hue. There's also the chance that when Momoa has an expanded role in Justice League: Part One, he won't be running around without a shirt and he'll receive an aquatic-themed tunic of some sort. But we also don't know what version of Aquman will be shown in BvS: DoJ. Is it the Arthur Curry who is ignorant of his Atlantic heritage or a Curry that's already been crowned king? Could Momoa's royal garb be more in line with the traditional orange and green threads from the comics?
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 6. 2016. Justice League: Part One arrives in North American theaters on November 17, 2017. The solo Aquaman movie will be released July 17, 2018.
