I think it's just a rumor that Wonder Woman will be a kryptonian. Hopefully she's not kryptonian but an amazonian.

WW more heartless than Zod? This is the problem with so many writers doing WW, they make her heartless and a bitch that kills anyone who even says 'boo' to her. Have a flawed character with some development and turmoil? Sure, but [frick]ing hell, the heartless bitch personality so many writers attach to WW is annoying.

I hope she IS Kryptonian. Then we can enjoy the movie for what it is and NOT be concerned that there will be any ridiculous retro fitting back to the comics.

PLUS (for all those "realistic" banner wavers) it would be much MORE realistic to have a character on Supes level to come from Krypton (not some greek "gods").

it amazes me how quickly people accept BS rumors as the truth.
There is NO WAY WB would make Wonder Woman from Krypton. That is just SHEER stupidity. They already have Supergirl and having multiple heroes from different backgrounds means they can make more money from toys and the "armies" of each nation/planet/species etc.
The Rock as John Stewart is someones dream. WB isnt ready to commit to another GL franchise yet.... and no big name, whether its Rock or Denzel will view GL as a viable franchise for themselves after the Reynolds debacle... and without a franchise they wont accept such a bit part in Superman v. Batman.... its all about business. if the business doesnt work, then the rumors wont happen

It would be great where some of the DC Comics characters revolve around Superman, winking on the fact that he is the world's first comicbook superhero. Kind of like how the Ultimate version of MARVEL revolved around Captain America.

Sure! You can't tell me that either the world of Nolan's Batman, or Snyder's MOS could have magic in it. They'll most likely will follow Marvel's lead and make her science BASED like Thor. I can't wait to see the machine-tech they come up with that will be responsible for hiding Themyscira.

If there not going with a Myth take I could live with that, it worries me how things like Wonder Woman's lasso, or Aquaman's trident will come in to play since their Trademarked. Daxamites are related to Kryptonians but have a weakness to led rather then Kryptonite, I don't see why Amazonians can't be related but not have heat vision, and frost breath. Kryptonian mix with Greek gods?

While I support changing Wonder Woman's background to make it more "realistic" making her a Krypton decendent is utterly wrong - if true. If it happens it would just be another of numerous tone deaf decisions about this film that in my opinion has gone way off the tracks. From the bad casting for Batman, not tying in the ultra popular Dark Knight movies and casting a woman whose thin resume make it dubious if she can carry the weight of the role. Therefore if Wonder Woman was made Kryptonian it would in no way surprise me. It would validate what I have suspected for a long while... that this movie will fail.

Why does everything have to tie in with Krypton from now on? Last time I checked Krypton was a tiny little aspect of the DC Cosmic. Not thing the Spectre will be from Krypton, or Krypton's explosion creates the New Gods. Or Darkseid's son is Rao.

@MadFaceKid, keep in mind that a myth is a story that is believed my many to be true, but is actually not. If they go the route of Amazons being descendants of ancient Kryptonians, it would only be explaining what is true in the Snyderverse and the stories of the Amazons being made of clay would be just the myth that most people believe (but is not really true).

I posted this on FB earlier this morning:

"...Because I think using Kara wouldn't make sense since the ship crashed thousands of years prior. If they could make it so that the Amazons are human/kryptonian hybrids then it can work.
Perhaps if it was a female kryptonian that survived that mated with a male human and only females of this hybrid race carry the kryptonian DNA to give them special abilities but not at such a potency as a full blooded kryptonian such as Superman.
This can work guys, just think about it..."
