In the interview, Debbie Stabenow mentions working with Ben Affleck, the locals involvement in construction of various iconic Batman locations such as the Batcave, and neither confirms nor denies her possible role as the "governor of Metropolis." She then goes on to compliment Zack Snyder for his creativity and artistic hand when it comes to directing. The senator said she was offered the role after joking with Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), who has been in four movie productions. Stabenow confirmed Leahy will have a speaking role in the film, though he hasn't confirmed the part himself.
