What does the DC movie plan leak mean?

With the recent supposed leak of DC movies to come, what does it actually mean?

This week has been an exciting one for DC fans. There was a report that Jason Momoa will play Aquman and a leak from a supposedly reliable source about the slate of DC movies that are coming from Warner Bros. In case you missed it, here is the list:

Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice (May 2016)
Shazam (July 2016)
Sandman (Christmas 2016)
Justice League (May 2017)
Wonder Woman (July 2017)
Flash/Green Lantern team-up (Christmas 2017)
Man of Steel 2 (May 2018)

Now, what does this all mean? Well, I think that it is pretty interesting. Firstly, we previously knew about Dawn of justice, Justice league and Sandman, and we had guessed there would eventually be a Wonder Woman film when she was announced, yet there are some real surprises here, if this is all actually true. Shazam is an interesting pick for them to go with, releasing on the same year as Dawn of justice and Sandman. Wonder Woman will no doubt be a success, with Warner finally giving her a standalone film (It is long overdue.) And for me, the most intruiging film on the list is the Flash/Green Lantern movie. Will they use the Flash from the new Tv show, or not. And will they use the Green Lantern from the previous film, or recast. If they did choose to go with Grant Gustin's Flash, that could open up a possibility of introducing Green Arrow from 'Arrow' into the cinematic universe. And finally, the Man of Steel sequel which we thoght was Batman V Superman, but now we know that tis purely a Justice league set up.

It is a pretty exciting time to be a DC fan.

(By the way, this is my first article, so any constructive critisism or tips would be extremely appreaciated. Thank you.)

I would feel better if they worked up to 3 movies a year. Just seems like if they stumble, Green Lantern, it could stop the whole plan in it's tracks. Although, at least they have a plan now.

I find it funny when people get hyped by rumors.

@alphaanddecima

I know, I just think if they're gonna put Green Arrow in the movies Stephen Amell has done a really good job and deserves to be in the cinematic universe.

All of this is just speculation so it means absolutely nothing until it's confirmed... But I do hope Shazam is in the cards, but find it odd that, if true, it would be out before a Wonder Woman stand-alone film. For that and the hundreds of rumors surrounding Batman vs Superman, I think most of this is wishful thinking and frankly bs. Comic-con is just around the corner so we'll find out soon enough.

Still not buying any of this (except that there will be a Justice League movie, which is obvious from the title of BvS) until it's confirmed.
