After months of principal photography in Detroit, Michigan, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is "getting ready to wrap it up and take off" as Zack Snyder has informed CBS Detroit this morning. The director called into the local radio station, which he once used to defend the Aquaman character, now just to thank the city for accommodating the production. "I just wanted to say thanks to you guys for being strong supporters of the movie and coming down and saying hey, and just, I’ve had a great time in Michigan, I just wanted to say thanks to you guys and just to Detroit itself," Snyder said. "I know this is the venue for talking to all of Detroit." When asked where filming is headed next, Zack Snyder confirmed that "We head to Chicago after this, then a couple more locations, but we're getting close [to wrapping completely]." However, given he is all set to return to the director's chair for two Justice League movies, Zack was then asked if he would be returning to Detroit... eventually. "I feel like there's a pretty good chance we'll be back," he said. "We have a couple of established locations here that I think if we make another movie we would have to come back and shoot that." Zack Snyder then recalled the last time he called the radio station, as aforementioned. "I think the last time I called, we talked a little bit about Aquaman, but it hadn't been announced that Jason Momoa was gonna play Aquaman," which was confirmed weeks ago. "I was trying to protect you guys from his wrath. The man is a monster. The guy is awesome and he's so passionate. I was hanging out with him here in Detroit and he was loving on it so hard. He’s a great guy, but like I say not a small individual."
