BIRDS OF PREY Merchandise Art Provides A Much Better Look At Harley Quinn's Roller Derby Outfit

A behind-the-scenes video gave us a very brief glimpse of Harley Quinn in her comic-accurate Roller Derby duds a few months back, but now some Birds of Prey t-shirt artwork provides a much better look...

While we await a new trailer for Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn), some new merchandise art for the Cathy Yan-directed movie has found its way online.

BIRDS OF PREY Set Visit Reports Deliver Some Intriguing New Details On The DC Comics Movie

We knew Harley would be donning a version of her black and red roller derby duds from the comics at some point in the DC adaptation thanks to a recent behind-the-scenes video, but these official t-shirt designs give us a much better look at the outfit HQ will almost certainly use to chase down (or escape from) some of Black Mask's goons.

There are several other new shots, including one of Harls in her "junk food" teddy bear onesie.

Check 'em out below along with the previously released posters and stills, and let us know if you're looking forward to Birds of Prey in the comments.

Since the events of Suicide Squad, Batman has disappeared, leaving Gotham City unprotected from crime, and Harley Quinn has left the Joker. When Cassandra Cain, a young girl, comes across a diamond belonging to crime lord Black Mask, Harley joins forces with Black Canary, Huntress, and Renee Montoya to help protect her.

didn't she said something similar in the first episode of her animated series?
ps: I can't believe I'm saying it but the Harley Quinn series is actually really funny.

@dracula

As long as you know it’s a Harley Quinn movie the title is a non-issue (imo).

@Spidey91

Haven’t really given that show a shot yet...watched some of ep 1 and idk maybe it was too over the top for me?

I’ll try to catch up on it. Has a crazy good MetaCritic score which was a little surprising to me.

Well, you're not the target demographic of middle schoolers that the dialogue was written for.

Just call it Harley Quinn and The Birds Of Prey and we would have no problem

When you take a good look at WB/DC Slate. Just becomes crystal clear how important continuing with Harley and BOP ( in sequels and spinoffs is).

After Wonder Woman 84 there isn’t another Female Driven DC Film until at least 2023.

Keeping it going with Harley in SS2 and then hopefully BOP2 and Gotham City Sirens or whatever is important.

Yeah, I don't believe this movie is going to do well at all. Every creative decision we have seen so far is bizarre and head-scratching, and it seems to be repeating all the same mistakes as Suicide Squad.

However, reading this and the rumours that it's going to retcon the DCEU Joker/Harley relationship as abusive (while showing some of Jared Leto's deleted footage in flashbacks) gives me a tiny bit of hope that this will be a good movie with shitty costumes and marketing:

However, given how certain characters act in the trailers (Cassandra Cain as a bubbly talkative teenager, Black Mask as another silly Jim Carrey/Jesse Eisenberg-style villain), I doubt it will be any good.

@Darkknight2149 - It'll make money. It's zero competition, capeshit, and has a twitter following that couldn't spell half the words to the movie's title without Google and a spellcheck.

@Reeds2Much -
Doesn't mean it will be well received, and won't hurt WBs reputation even more.

BvS and Suicide Squad made money as well.
