While Warner Bros. has released concept art and even a clip from Black Adam, we're still waiting on a proper look at Dwayne Johnson suited up as the anti-hero from head to toe.
That's no doubt on the way, but for now, Dwayne Johnson has just shared a first look at Total Film's subscriber cover featuring an up-close and personal shot of his Black Adam. "You’re right. Superheroes don’t kill bad people. But I do," the actor captions the image before reiterating that the character's introduction will change the hierarchy of power in the DC Extended Universe.
As you can see, the regular cover will be unveiled next Thursday, so we're betting on that featuring another new look at the magically powered badass. Stills will likely accompany the cover, and it's not outside the realm of possibility that a trailer will land in time for The Matrix Resurrections.
Fingers crossed on that front, but it's great to get some new content from the DCEU after a relatively quiet year for the franchise outside of Zack Snyder's Justice League and The Suicide Squad.
Black Adam will thunder into theatres on July 29, 2022.
