Earlier today, we brought you news on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever's planned Blu-ray release, and official details have now been revealed by Disney.
Like most home entertainment titles these days, there aren't hours of special features, but it's the deleted scenes we're sure many of you will be most excited about. For starters, it sounds like we'll see more fallout from Okoye being stripped of her position as the leader of the Dora Milaje along with an extended ending scene which adds Danai Gurira's warrior to the mix.
Okoye also takes centre stage in a deleted scene that involves her uncle, and we're beginning to get the impression many of the character's scenes ended up on the cutting room floor!
She had a satisfying enough story arc, but it definitely appears original plans called for Okoye's story arc to be a full-blown subplot. Still, with an already lengthy 161-minute runtime, something had to give and it seems this was all deemed superfluous.
Also of note are plans to include a sequence with Martin Freeman's Everett Ross we recently brought to your attention while digging through old set photos!
