With Black Panther set to release worldwide in just over a month, Marvel Studios decided to give fans a quick run-through of The Black Panther comic-book origins.

The highly anticipated Black Panther has been in the spotlight for many weeks - with promotional material such as magazine covers including new images, TV spots and even a jewelry line.

In Marvel Studios' latest promotion, they decided to explore the characters comic book origins, especially since he's a lesser-known hero.

The featurette includes insight from Chadwick Boseman, Ryan Coogler, Kevin Feige and even Stan Lee.



Black Panther is set to release February 16, 2018.

Man, I love Stan Lee. In addition to all the other awesome stuff about him, he's also a constant reminder that people of his generation don't have to be stuck in some narrow worldview from half a century ago. That they can grow and accept and enthusiastically embrace the world as it changes around them.

Maybe it's from hearing the guy narrate the old cartoons, and reading his Soapbox and hearing his voice in so many older comics, but more than creating/managing a superhero universe that created so many of my favorite characters, Stan Lee's seemingly unshakable optimism and playful showmanship is something I'm really grateful to have been exposed to for basically my entire life.
