Marvel HQ has released a sneak peek clip of tonight's episode of
Marvel's Avengers: Black Panther's Quest. Titled "
T'Chanda," the episode follows T'Challa on an unexpected trip to the past where he (and we, the audience) discover secrets about his grandfather.
We're sent to the 1940s to witness a top secret mission that his grandfather went on with Agent Carter (Hayley Atwell) and Captain America (Roger Craig Smith) to prevent Baron Zemo and the Shadow Council from obtaining a piece of Wakandan technology. And in this sneak peek, we get to see a glimpse of some of the risks and challenges they faced as they track down the villainous Hydra scientists Baron Helmut Zemo and Arnim Zola (Mark Hamill).
Black Panther (James C. Mathis III) discovers secrets about his grandfather, T’Chanda, in an episode that involves scenes set in the 1940s and include Captain America (Roger Craig Smith), Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), and the villainous Arnim Zola (Mark Hamill). In his final animation performance, Stan Lee speaks about the evils of hate.
As previously revealed, "
T'Chanda" marks an important moment for Marvel as it
will feature Stan Lee's final animated appearance. The Marvel Comics legend will provide the voice of an Army General and gives a very powerful statement about intolerance. Marvel HQ actually already released a clip of the episode featuring Lee,
which you can watch here.
Marvel's Avengers: Black Panther's Quest - "T'Chanda" airs tonight, Sunday, January 13 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Disney XD.
