BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER Clips Feature Big Introductions For Namor The Submariner And Ironheart

Two new clips from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever have been released, with both showcasing big introductory moments for Namor the Submariner (Tenoch Huerta) and Riri Williams/Ironheart (Dominique Thorne).

The first reactions to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever have been overwhelmingly positive, and it sounds like we're in store for something really special next month. While fans are understandably excited to see how the sequel deals with the legacy of Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa, we can also look forward to two huge MCU introductions.

We are, of course, referring to Namor the Submariner and Riri Williams, a.k.a. Ironheart.

In the clips below, we see two key introductory scenes for the characters, with the first featuring a moment we're sure comic book fans will appreciate. It's already been confirmed that the MCU's take on the Atlantean anti-hero will be called "K'uk'ulkan," tying into his Aztec history, but he tells Queen Ramonda here that his enemies call him "Namor."

It's a very cool moment, and one we're sure will play even better on the big screen. Namor sounds like a highlight in the Black Panther sequel, and certainly looks formidable based on what we've seen in the TV spots and trailers.

As for Ironheart, while she's not suited up, she does find herself coming to blows with Okoye when she and Shuri attempt to convince the teenager to accompany them to Wakanda.

Check out these new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever clips below.

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba) fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.

As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of Talokan, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livinalli.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, directed by Ryan Coogler, opens in theaters on November 11.

@DoubleD - mind blown that the trio is finally here.
Just would need Hulk to, get angry again

@Vigor - Smart Hulk could actually bring a interesting dynamic to this lineup now, considering he’s probably the least hot headed out of the trio.

@Vigor - Most people don't even know who the original Defenders were. The excitement I would have to see these three in a movie forming the Defenders would be mind-blowing.

Actually feel so lucky we’ve got an actor like Tenoch Huerta playing Namor. Anybody that’s seen Narcos knows this guy is going to kill it, and everything seen so far looks pitch perfect.

But this trailer tho. The new panther is moving slick.

I'm always a bit confused by the slips they show - that one did nothing to make me interested

@Radders - I did not like the Riri clip at all. And the other just doesn't play well out of context.

So only his enemies call him Namor? So are they trolling him, is the name Namor an insult or are they laughing at him? What about Namorita is that a troll name too?!

this guy looks so bad-ass as namor, even if the tiny little wings look insanely off to me lmao. in a year where marvel wasted guys like hawke & bale, it's nice that tenoch is meant to be this good

Tenoch Huerta seems like a very nice person. I'm happy for him and what this means for his career. But
I'll be watching it, but not in a way that will contribute to its success.

So Namor is really hot, confirmed.

Thorne is always fun to watch, seems like she will play off the ladies of Wakanda really well.

Very excited for this.

Namor's introduction was pretty good, went from being portrayed as a harmless kind of tourist that has laid eyes on Wakanda in for the first time in his life into a cut to to the chase reveal of his real behaviour and intentions. They nailed there his character.
