It seems we won't have to wait until the new Spider-Man solo movie to see Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny, The Wrestler, Crazy Stupid Love) as Aunt May, as word is she'll actually make her debut as the character in Captain America: Civil War. Heroic Hollywood reports that Tomei managed to get her scenes shot in secret before the movie wrapped.
Last week we found out that at least one scene will take place in Peter's apartment so we know we will get some kind of glimpse into his home life, and it's a safe bet May will factor in to that somehow - after all she'll hardly be swinging around with him and his new Avengers pals.
Funnily enough, though it was reported by the trades, Marvel has actually yet to officially confirm that Tomei has been cast as Aunt May. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan and many more, Captain America: Civil War opens on May 6, 2016.
