We now have some slightly more specific details about when the trailer will be released! PLUS: Check out the "new" international poster for the movie which is identical to the last one apart from on VERY minor alteration...

Our friends over at The Projection List have revealed today via their Twitter account (@projectionlist) that the trailer for Captain America: The First Avenger will debut this week. As you may already know, it was expected to debut a few days ago, but Marvel Studios instead released a second trailer for Thor. Check out when and where you can see it below, and be sure to head on over to the site by clicking the link below for more details!



Oh, and on a separate note, thanks to my good friend RealIrOnMaN, we have our first look at the international poster for the movie. It's exactly the same as the last one, but they've decided to replace the word "Avenge" with the actual title. A good idea, don't you think?



Captain America: The First Avenger is set to be released in 3D on July 22, later this year!

Jackwagon-the title is Captain America The First Avenger,but the poster had the phrase "AVENGE" across the front.They both seem cool maybe here in the states they'll use both since we're never satisfied.CAP is going to KICK ASS!!!!

@Aguaman, I know a lot of people would complain about the Agent of Shield uniform but I'll be honest, I would LOVE IT! The only thing that feels weird to me about this movie is the helmet,i think the design was shotty and I just want Cap to look awesome next to Iron Man and Thor

so much better they dropped the "Avenge" title, its too soon to be using that... wait for thor and cap movie to be released before anything to do with avengers get mentioned!! The teaser was the definition of a great teaser but carrying a whole 2 plus minute trailer can be tough and the more footage the more that's criticized but I for one am hopeful Joe Johnston can deliver a spectacular film(fingers crossed)

I'm praying this trailer is awesome...because I really have a bad feeling about this movie. I wanted so badly for this movie to kick ass, but once they cast Chris Evans as Cap I knew we had problems. And seeing the Superbowl spot didn't make me feel any better. As far as CBM's right now I'm predicting that this one comes in last, with a big possibility of really being a stinker. The only saving grace is that once this movie flops they'll realize that Cap will need to look way better in Avengers and they'll ditch that goofy uniform. The Thor trailer makes you wonder how Johnson's Cap can even be on a team with Thor and Iron Man, let alone be the leader. He's going to need a big time "overhaul" for Avengers, we all know that.
