After overseeing a live fan event with Guardians of the Galaxy's James Gunn and Marvel exec Kevin Feige, the team over at AMC Movie Talk have invited the star of this year's Captain America: The Winter Soldier to talk about the film! Check out the video below:

As well as speaking to Stan, John Campea also caught up with Scarlett Johansson to talk about Black Widow's character development in the film:

I think we see a bit of the back story to Widow in this film and we'll see more of that in Avengers 2. But what we really get to see in this movie is her emotional depth. This is a character who for her whole "career" has been a mercenary, let's not forget that's where she began. She's a reluctant hero, she's used to doing what she's told, just getting by to survive; that's what see's learned to do. In the beginning of this film she really echoes her sentiments to Cap. You know, we're saving the world but at the end of the day, I have my job and he has his.
But by the end of this film she's really grappling with her identity. Who am I? I can make active choices and I can want things. What do I want? It's been really been exciting to bring the character to a point where Widow is starting to desire things.

What do you think of Stan and Johansson's comment's? Do they make you more excited for next month? Sign off your thoughts below!

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.

@comicsbornandbred I pray not. Can't stand Sharon, just an awful love interest for Cap. He deserves way better than basic and suspect. As for Widow, she can go a lot of ways honestly, but God please don't put Cap with Sharon.

Love how Scarlett speaks of Cap and Widow connection. They really do have a lot of common ground b/t them that many overlook. They're a great team.

@Destined - Thats like saying the relationship Cap had with Peggy was crap. Sharon is an agent all the same it only seems logical that he would fall for someone in the same fold as him. Not many people can touch base with Cap because everyone he meets is too modernized beyond his morality, she represents a little of what he lost from the past in my opinion.

@smgmayhem disagree for the mere fact Peggy was introduced already and came before Sharon. Sharon is weak b/c the only significance she has is because she's a Carter, which is gross in its own right as well. It was lazy writing and not needed. And let's not forget what Cap's fate is ultimately after being with that lame. Just no, if they wanted Cap with an agent that could've been anyone, but a solid love interest she is not and it should've been a completely original character without ties to his first love. As far as I'm concerned he's never really had a strong romantic life until recently. They would've did better by giving Peggy something too so she could've been with Steve. That would've been much more acceptable.

@smgmayhem also she doesn't represent what he's lost, because she's not from his time. She's just a Carter, that's it. And I'm pretty sure there are other people with moral compasses like Cap, one being the Wasp if we're talking about people from the Superhero spectrum. And he touch bases with Widow just fine as we'll see in this movie. They have many similarities that go unnoticed b/c of what they represent but I'm glad the Russo's are bringing this to light. Sharon is just a crap filler character at the end of the day.

Box office projection for Captain 2

Domestic - 25% greater than Cap 1 = $221,000,000
Foreign - 40% greater than Cap 1 = $271,000,000

Worldwide total for Cap 2 = $492,000,000

Not bad at all! Even a little more gets it to $500,000,000 worldwide! Pretty good considering most sequels don't increase this much.
