After overseeing a live fan event with
Guardians of the Galaxy's James Gunn and Marvel exec Kevin Feige, the team over at AMC Movie Talk have invited the star of this year's
Captain America: The Winter Soldier to talk about the film! Check out the video below:
As well as speaking to Stan, John Campea also caught up with Scarlett Johansson to talk about Black Widow's character development in the film:
I think we see a bit of the back story to Widow in this film and we'll see more of that in Avengers 2. But what we really get to see in this movie is her emotional depth. This is a character who for her whole "career" has been a mercenary, let's not forget that's where she began. She's a reluctant hero, she's used to doing what she's told, just getting by to survive; that's what see's learned to do. In the beginning of this film she really echoes her sentiments to Cap. You know, we're saving the world but at the end of the day, I have my job and he has his.
But by the end of this film she's really grappling with her identity. Who am I? I can make active choices and I can want things. What do I want? It's been really been exciting to bring the character to a point where Widow is starting to desire things.
What do you think of Stan and Johansson's comment's? Do they make you more excited for next month? Sign off your thoughts below!
