Speaking to
Click TV at the Dublin screening of Much Ado About Nothing, Avengers director and S.H.I.E.L.D. executive producer Joss Whedon shared the following.
On the progress of the S.H.I.E.L.D. television show and the possibility of cameos from The Avengers.
Joss Whedon: I think it's going well but I may be biased. It's possible [for cameos] but it's not why we're doing it. We want to make sure that people fall in love with the characters we have on the show and don't spend all their time wondering if Chris Evans is going to show up.
Joss's humorous response to a question about the fanaticism of his fan base.
Whedon: I don't think of them as fanatical so much as [having] extraordinarily well taste. They have great taste, they're really smart and they're better than other people.
Frank Grillo hints that Captain America: The Winter Soldier starts filming in 35 days.
Update: Frank Grillo has deleted his tweet and now says he has no idea when Captain America: The Winter Soldier will start filming.
Remember that rumor about Simon Pegg being involved in some capacity with Star Wars: Episode VII? Pegg himself sets the record straight.
Green Lantern: TAS series producer Giancarlo Volpe says the show moves towards the series finale starting with this Saturday's episode.
Mike Ryan of The Huffington Post talked with Bryan Singer about Days of Future Past. No casting or plot info was divulged but the director did share the following.
"Yeah. It's just a good feeling [to be back in the director's chair on an X-Men project]. It's a good feeling because I'm anxious to work with these new cast members in the capacity of a director. And also to work with my old friends. And we've remained friends: Ian and I are great friends -- and Hugh. I just can't really wait to work with everybody on what is a very good story. It's a story that that really involves all of those characters and really puts them to good use. They're not just thrown in for the sake of it. And it's also a very epic story and takes place in multiple times. And, also you'll see, there will be things that haven't been in an X-Men film yet that fans and non-fans alike will appreciate."
I shared this on Twitter earlier but for those of you shunning social media, there's a clever piece of marketing in the NY Times for Game of Thrones Season 3.
