Thanks to Liverpool resident, Steve Frost, we have the following video of the yellow taxi flipping over as a part of the dramatic sequence of events that begins on the set in Manchester where Steve Rogers chases after the vehicle on foot and then jumps on the roof as we saw in the pictures and videos posted yesterday showing Chris Evans' stunt double doing just that! Although the following footage was taken from a distance (understandably as security is tight around the entire area) you can clearly see the taxi flipping over in the impressive looking stunt!

And in case you're having problems with that video, here's the YouTube version of the footage:

The Liverpool Echo have posted a brief interview with Lynn Saunders, manager of the Liverpool Film Office, who let slip a few interesting pieces of information! Firstly, she confirmed what many of us have already worked out - that the scene being filmed in Liverpool follows directly on from what they're currently doing in Manchester. (as I exclusively revealed here on CBM a few days ago!)

"There are two units so when the main unit is in Manchester the second unit is here, and vice versa. This is continuation of the sequence being filmed in Manchester."

Saunders was then quizzed about the rumours that a German U-Boat is currently at the docks in Liverpool (in a sequence being which the site believe to be one of the main action set pieces and costing around $140m) to which she teased:

"A local diving company has been hired to see how deep the dock is. It’s very exciting."

We've already caught a glimpse of a HYDRA jet ski and the whole submarine rumour has been around for a while now. Clearly, this is where the sequence comes to a head, and if the speculation that this all takes place just moments after Steve takes the super soldier serum, it's certaintly an exciting and explosive beginning to his time as Captain America! Remember, if you have any photos or video from either this set in Liverpool or Manchester then send them to us here at CBM by clicking on the "Contact Me" link at the top left hand side of this page!

Captain America: The First Avenger will be released on July 22, 2011!
