CAPTAIN MARVEL: Here's When You Can Expect To See The First Trailer For The Marvel Movie

Marvel Studios has finally pulled back the curtain on Captain Marvel with an Entertainment Weekly cover story but where the heck is the trailer? Here's the latest on when it's expected to debut online...

This week, we finally got our first look at Captain Marvel and while it was definitely satisfying, fans are already wondering where the trailer is. Well, MCU Cosmic (and Trailer-Track) is now reporting that the plan is for the trailer to be released within the next two weeks. It's also said that it's possible it could be with us as soon as next week which would be a bonus but nothing is guaranteed at this stage.

However, the site makes a very good point by noting that in the past, Marvel movies which have debuted on the cover of Entertainment Weekly normally debut a trailer two weeks later so there is a pattern to follow there. Throw in the fact that this intel comes from what's described as a reliable source and it seems as if we can expect to be watching this trailer in the month of September!

How much will it reveal? That's a very interesting question and one it's impossible to answer. Marvel is great at putting teasers together anyway, so we're no doubt going to be in for a treat. What are you hoping to see from our first look at Captain Marvel footage? As always, share your thoughts below.

It'll definitely be released sometime in September.

I'm thinking next week during MNF or TNF.

@mobile1ph - They look a little Dragonball Z-ish to me, but I think they look pretty good for the most part.

@doomsday619 - Damn... RIP.

He was 82. That's a great, long life he led. He will be missed. I know he was the main character of the original, but he was the best part of The Longest Yard remake in 2005. I always loved Norm MacDonald's impressions of him on SNL.

@LORDbuckethead - I'm from the UK so we don't get SNL but I have seen clips looks like my type of comedy.
But Longest yard remake I really like mainly because I'm a wrestling fan and was good to see them in it too.
I love his Smokey and the Bandit movies, Cannonball Run and even the Dukes of Hazzard movie.

@doomsday619 - yeah, he was quite the American Legend. Smokey & the Bandit is widely regarded as one of the best films of the 70s. He actually had an upcoming role as George Spahn (a real person) in Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, so it'll be interesting to see what comes of that role.

And Kevin Nash was the standout of all the wrestling guys in TLY. His character was downright hilarious.

Here's the aforementioned Celebrity Jeopardy skit from season 25 (1999), which is widely regarded as one of the best SNL skits ever.

@LORDbuckethead - I think that guy who is playing Bert Reynolds in that skit is funny in everything he is in I watch a lot if American TV shows not really into much of the British stuff and he is in The Middle he plays Rusty he was great in that and I like him in a lot of Adam Sandler movies.
I wonder what they will do with Bert Reynolds stuff in Once upon a time in Hollywood. I'm looking forward to that movie.

@doomsday619 - Yeah, Norm MacDonald is great, especially in Billy Madison. But yeah I'm curious as to what they're going to do with his role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

@LORDbuckethead - Billy Madison is excellent. I know Adam Sandler gets a lot of hate but I think he is brilliant.

@doomsday619 - his most recent films haven't been the best (he signed like a 7-picture deal with Netflix, allowing him WAY TOO MUCH creative freedom), but I would highly recommend the Meyerowitz Stories. I think it's his most recent film, but it's pretty good and by far the best thing Sandler has released via Netflix.

@LORDbuckethead - yeah I have seen most of the Netflix ones and I agree not as good as things like Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison ect. Haha not seen that Meyerowitz film. I like Ben Stiller too that looks good love the missed kick. Will add that to my watchlist.
