The Captain Marvel sequel, The Marvels, is set to be released next year, and Brie Larson is currently hard at work preparing to get into superhero shape for her return as Carol Danvers.
We last saw the actress in Avengers: Endgame, though her scenes in that movie were actually shot before 2019's Captain Marvel. As a result, it's been a while since the Oscar-winner has suited up, so you can see why Larson might want to make sure she's in the best shape possible ahead of her return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Very little is known about the plot of The Marvels, though it has been confirmed that Captain Marvel will be joined by Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau (likely in her Spectrum persona following the events of WandaVision). Seeing the three badass superheroes teaming up promises to be an awful lot of fun come November 11, 2022.
Nia DaCosta is taking the helm of the movie, and Larson recently confirmed that she's putting her YouTube channel on pause in order to focus on once again playing the MCU's most powerful superHERo.
