The Marvel Universe as we all know it will soon be gone, and what's left...well, it's sure to either get you hooked on Marvel's comics or completely alienated by them. Who's in the image below? Well, we have Doctor Spectrum of the Great Society from Jonathan Hickman's Avengers, Citizen V (Baron Zemo's heroic alter-ego in the Thunderbolts), The Thing and Rocket Raccoon in matching Guardians of the Galaxy uniforms, a new look Karnak, Hyperion, Inferno, Iron Man, Medusa, Daredevil, X-23 as the new Wolverine, Star-Lord, an axe weilding Doctor Strange, and Old Man Logan. Wait, what?

The only thing which be "All-New" and "All-Different" for me after this reboot or whatever it's supposed to be is that I'll only be reading a handful of comics from DC and Image. Axel Alonso is killing Marvel.

I like Daredevil's new suit.

I like Old Man Logan (hate the comic due to how Hulk was written) being involved

I like X-23 taking up Wolverine's mantle

I like that the Thing won't be forgotten.

I am beginning to think that Banner will be Iron Man.

Why change existing characters thats what i don't get.......why not just add or create new ones and leave the current ones intact....consider me DC only now unless the DCYou thing goes to shit in which case i'm then done with comics completely.

Why don't they just reboot the Marvel Universe keeping the characters we know & love?

You know, I absolutely despise what both Marvel and DC are doing right now, but...honestly...I'm surprisingly kind of into X-23 taking over Wolverine's legacy. Can't explain why, but...yeah, I'm actually OK with that! Kind of OK with Old Man Logan too. Maybe he'll hang out with fellow Old Man Steven Rogers now. I'm almost defeinitely not gonna read it, though. I'm extremely disappointed in comic books right now.

Interesting bringing back Citizen V I really liked the Thunderbolts pre Civil War. A group of ex villains trying to go straight was a really good comic and I really liked it.

So is this a proper New52 type of reboot or just another renumbering? Because I'm getting really sick of titles reverting to #1 when in reality its just a continuation of the same convoluted shit Marvel has been pumping out for over a decade

Also the 'Renew Your Vows' Spider-Man is exactly the type of Spider-Man I wan't to see - married w/ kid, dealing with life in adulthood, not the dreadful post-One More Day/Brand New Day bullshit we have been subjected to. Minus the needless Avengers sub-plot, Vows was the best SM comic produced in years - likely the only good one that Slott has made.

So, instead of creating new and/or putting focus on already female/ethnic characters, they just gender/race swap already established characters to please the militant social justice warriors. It's lazy pandering to the vocal minority that only serves to turn off those actually buying your books, because the femi-nazies aren't going to actually start reading them. They're just gonna move on to their next target, like Joss Whedon, or Game of Thrones.

But why does Logan have to be so old though?

They could've kept him young, but just have him go by Logan instead of Wolverine.
