Artifacts #25

In a lot of ways the rebirth of the Top Cow Universe has been building toward this specific arc.  And when the moment comes and the troops are rallied the creative team literally wastes no time getting this conflict going. Artifacts #25 is an exceptional release that will surely please eager fans.  Highly recommended.

Hacks/Slash #24

It's always a somewhat bitter affair when a franchise faces its imminent conclusion but thankfully this creative team is delivering on all fronts.  From the written word to the stylistically rendered visualizations the people behind all of this are simply yielding an expert send off for this storied universe.

Jennifer Blood #23

It might be a safe analysis to say that this series has put its audience through the proverbial ringer and this latest release is no different.  Here we find our protagonist, who has gone through so much that she's starting to lose that unique perspective on the world that made her decisions justifiable.

MASKS #4

The most unique crossover in awhile continues. MASKS is interesting because it teams up a bunch of characters a lot of readers probably have never heard of. Sure, we know the Green Hornet and Zoro...but Miss Fury? Green Lama? These 'pulp' men and women aren't exactly mainstream, which forces a huge emphasis on story and writing rather than character market appeal. That's why this series shines, it's a very well-written and fun tale set in the 30's. This issue introduces us to a big character, plus we learn that there's a 'master' behind the scenes. If you haven't been reading MASKS, what are you waiting for?

 Grimm Fairy Tales Presents: The Jungle Book: Last of the Species #1

What we have here is some further exploration with an established but nonetheless complex narrative. Following the aftermath of the previous volume this sequel picks up while tensions are high as Mowglii relishes in her successful vengeance.
