When you think of Jason Todd, you might think of the worst Robin ever, or the whiny little brat. Lately he has been quite sinister. He's been everywhere and back, he was Robin, then he died, then he was Hush, then the Red Hood, then Batman, and now he's the Red Hood again. Jason Todd is my favorite villain.

1. He has an in-depth back story
Since he didn't start off as a villain, he has a huge story, from stealing the wheels off the Batmobile, to being beaten with a pipe, and blown up. It didn't end there, he was Hush and Red Hood and even BATMAN for a couple issues.

2. He is Bruce Wayne's Kryptonite
After Jason died, Batman felt like Jason was his biggest mistake. This depressed the Dark Knight. After he returned Batman wasn't too eager to fight him. He was even sympathetic to him, and tried to get him help.

3. He is an A**Hole
You all know it. A,s soon as he asked Dick and Tim to be his "Robin," I wanted to punch him in the face. He is so obnoxious. I think you are supposed to hate your favorite villain, if that makes sense.

4. His Method
Because of his current method, one might think he is an anti-hero. Yet his mind set, takes away what was a hero, and you know that. No matter what he will always hate the entire batman family

5. You never saw it coming
You saw Jason die, and no one expected him to return ... AS A VILLAIN, he was a shock, as Red Hood and Hush, and when he was batman, it was shocking.

not that i don't like him, but i hate that he returned.

it was always kind of understood that if there were two characters that would never be resurrected in comics, it was Bucky and Jason Todd.

then they were both resurrected within the same year.

a poor show of the comic book industry in my opinion. if they brought them back, then there is no longer ANYTHING holding them back. to me, that marked the point of the revolving door reaching a new level. to me, it showed that now, no matter who died, we would see them again.

Um... Jason Todd wasn't Hush... Hush was Bruce Wayne's childhood friend Dr. Thomas Elliot. Jason Todd was involved in the Hush fiasco but he wasn't actually Hush himself.

As I have said multiple times I love Red Hood/Jason Todd. He is my new favorite villian. But I wouldn't say he's Bruce Wayne's Kryptonite. Yes, Bruce cares for him and regrets that he couldn't save him but that doesn't mean he won't do what he can to stop him if he needs to. If anything there is a lot of personal turmoil from both sides. Its really a sad relationship they have now and the whole fact that with Todd, regardless of him being alive now, Bruce failed him and now has to face his failure with every encounter he has with Jason, and in Jason's eyes, Bruce never enacted the real justice Joker deserved, he feels that Bruce should've crossed that line for Jason, so, therefore, he feels betrayed and hurt by Bruce.
And because he was Batman's sidekick for years and trained under him and took part in Bruce's personal life outside of Batman he really makes for a great adversary for Batman. I thought making him Red Hood was brilliant and I love the storylines with him.

Good article. Just gotta change that "Hush" statement.

I don't like that he returned either. He might be an interesting character (haven't read much with him) but looking at it from a story point of view, I think he should have stayed dead. It really weakens the emotional impact of the story of his death to have him return.

@della I admit the way they resurrected him wasn't very good, but what I'm saying is I love the character they made him into now. Sorry but I think he's bad ass.

@della I think they do explain him aging in the New Lost Days series they are doing.
