Curious on why Green Lantern doesn't have his ring on in the previously revealed Justice League cover? Check out Jim Lee, speaking via his Twitter regarding the error:

Green Lantern has no ring on the Justice League image? Sounds like the work of Sinestro!

OK back to work for me. I will have to hunt down that Sinestro fellow...

Before it spins too far out of hand, (ha no pun intended) the ring will reappear by the time the comic debuys or b4 Sinestro is done w/it

HAHA case of the missing ring solved-was gonna say it was due to senility but I dug up the pencil scan-BEHOLD.

Below is the fixed pencil sketch, in which now you can spot the ring:

Furthermore, he explained who was behind the mistake after a question from another follower:

Scott Williams, my inker erased the ring! RT @ProphetEKA: @jimlee00 I'm curious: Did you ink the pic or was it someone else? = )

Superman costume was lame, i love this new look. i'm so sick with this "dont mess the iconic suit" shit. Time to move on, people! I have been reading comics my entire life, and i never had problems with the costume changes. Even Wonder woman! All comics have been teaching the same concept, is not the suit what makes the hero. So, if tomorrow Batman appears in a pink armor, but it's still badass, it is still Batman! The crazy need for awesome suits from the 90's didn't ruin the characters for me. The problem is, was, and always will be the man under the suit. i dont like when other people becomes the hero (like Richard Grayson or Bucky becoming Batman and Captain America respectively).

@Marvel72: It wasn't broke? I dunno. It looked pretty stupid to me. This one looks a lot better.

@MagnaSolaris,

I’m with you regarding the Bucky/Robin issue. I certainly would have preferred watching the companies attempt to perfect either Winter Soldier or Nightwing in an effort to make them work. Now who knows whether we will ever see Nightwing again after the DC relaunch. I understand Dick Grayson may return to Robin.

Too bad the characters still look like de-aged midgets.

I'm so disappointed that a cover by Jim Lee looks so amateurish.
