When news  of Academy Award winning actor, J.K Simmons  were to play Commisioner Jim Gordon in 2017's Justice League, many of us wondered a lot of questions, how big of a part will he have? How does he fit into Justice League? Well, in an exclusive interview with Collider, Simmons opened up for the role of James Gordon in the highly anticipated 2017 superhero film:

“There are easy comparisons to make. I wasn’t a big comic book reading kid, so I did a fair amount of reading when I was playing Jameson, who was very much the comic relief in those movies. Even in the comics, he was a blowhard who was all bark and very rarely bite. My understanding, from what I’ve learned so far about Commissioner Gordon, is that he’s the older guy with the mustache who relates with our hero in a certain way. Other than that, it’s a vastly different character and much more of a stronger, impactful character in the DC universe.”

Well, there you have it, folks! Will we see Jim Gordon asking pictures  of Batman? (Which will be weird, cause he works  for the Dark Knight) well, we can't wait to hear more news  of Justice League!

Justice League is released on November 17, 2017
