Marvel Actors in Dc movie "curse"? COULD GREEN LANTURN BREAK IT

With the highly anticipated release of Superman Returns in 2006 and the long awaited Catwoman movie in 2004 is there a common thread that ran threw both movies that lead to failure for Catwoman and mixed failure for Superman? We were all ashamed to be called comic book movie fans not just here in America but all over the world. What were reason's for the failure? Bad screenwriting...Maybe, bad directing...Maybe, bad actors or actress...that's up to you. I'm a loyal person and me personally I like to observe things and I am a bit superstitious. When your in a Marvel movie or Dc movie and then go to the other side and do a movie for the competition...well that's not loyalty. These are my two cents and don't get me wrong I'm not a Marvel fan boy.

In Superman Returns you had the director of X-Men and X2 along with actor James Marsden who played (a douche version)Cyclops. In Catwoman we had Halley Berry portray Patience Phillips a significantly alternated version of the Catwomen Michelle Pfeiffer. Thomas Jane flirted with Jonah Hex and I don't want to get into that train wreak. Is it a coincidence that half the actors and director from Marvel were personally involved with the x-men? I also did not forget Michael Fassbender was in Jonah Hex also but lets wait two more weeks to see how his transition to marvel film turns out. Is there a "curse" plaguing those original Marvel actors turning to Dc.

With Green Lantern being about a month away this is the first time an actor who portrayed a marvel character(deadpool) is playing a lead character in the upcoming film. Can the movie deliver with people divided in the middle about the casting or Ryan Reynolds? Could he potentially break the "curse"? All interesting questions that is just missing answers...time to discuss.

How did i do this is my first post XD

I hate XD my little brother uses it when he texts me and i really just wanna punch him down some [frick]ing stairs, and you've just used it in an article, god help you if i ever find you.

I found it a bit hard to read.

And you will find directors use the same actors a lot, so james marsden, who is just an actor and probably not a comic fan i dont know, is loyal, loyal to bryan singer as that is were actors loyalties lies, with directors and film companies not comic book companies.

Not a bad attempt for a first try.

Sam Huntington is a good actor and he does have a career, he's on Being Human as Josh the Werewolf.

PS The British version is still better, but the American version does have it's moments.
