The Hollywood Reporter, Syfy channel has decided to try their hands at adapting a comic book into a television project too. Seems every channel is trying to get into the comic book adaptation business. Times are good for comic book fans. This project that they're developing, is
Ronin, which was a limited (six-issues) comic book series published between 1983 to 1984. It was written and illustrated by Frank Miller, who is best known for creating
Sin City and
300, as well as his legendary runs in the 1980's on such titles as,
Daredevil and
Batman. A formal announcement should come April 30th at Syfy's upfront presentation. Who will writing the project?
The Hollywood Reporter adds, "A search is under way for a writer and the exact number of episodes in the Syfy miniseries has not yet been determined."
