Warner Bros. has announced two Untitled DC Films for 2020. The first will arrive on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2020, while the second will arrive in the summer on June 5, 2020.
No hints were provided on what either film could be, although if we had to wager an educated guess, the first might be The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, while the latter is likely the Wonder Woman sequel, which returns both Patty Jenkins & Gal Gadot, as the date is during the same weekend the film opened this past summer. Also, with San Diego Comic-Con coming up, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that we'll learn more about at least one of these dates (as well as several others) during WB's eagerly awaited presentation on Saturday.
Looking ahead, WB had already slated Untitled DC Films for April 3, 2020 (heavily rumored to be Cyborg), and July 24, 2020 (heavily rumored to be Green Lantern Corps.), so it's a little uncertain where these films now stand on the studio's updated release calendar as it's increasingly unlikely they would want to release four DC films in the first seven months of the year. There is also a possibility one, or both, of them, were moved up to the more favorable dates, but we have yet to receive any sort of confirmation.
Other potential options include The Batman, Suicide Squad 2, Shazam, Black Adam, Gotham City Sirens, Nightwing, Batgirl, Justice League Dark, Justice League 2, and/or Man of Steel 2.
So, what do you guys think they could be? Sound off with your thoughts below!
